I wasn't expecting the best-ever road trip stop to be in Hays, Kansas, but lo and behold, this hotel was fantastic. The room was extremely clean, loaded with towels, and had a very comfortable bed. All of the appliances and furnishings were modern and worked great. The staff was efficient and extremely friendly. Within five minutes of checking in, I received a text from the front desk asking if everything was sufficient. Area around the hotel felt very safe. I would 100% recommend it.
Overall it was a good experience. We had a very nice large room. It was very | clean and had everything we needed. The restaurant in the lobby was excellent. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Easy access off of I70 for a one night stay while traveling. Would definitely stay here again.
This hotel couldn't have been more clean and bright. Even the dog friendly aspect has been great. We did not hear any barking during our one night stay, and no dogs were spotted sitting in eating areas, as I've unfortunately seen in other dog friendly hotels. The lobby is cute and welcoming and the bar? Woo hoo! worked for me. Very friendly bartender who made a decent traditional mule when I asked to alter the one featured on the cocktail menu. Room was spacious. Area surrounding hotel was quaint. Continental breakfast had some packaged things and hot items as well. Wish they had real oatmeal instead of instant, but no big whoop. We would stay here again.
My husband and I stopped here for the night on our trip to Colorado. This Hilton is a beautiful, well-cared for property! Our room is spacious, clean, and nicely laid out - the bed is so comfortable too. I was a little concerned about the quality of the bathroom after reading a couple of critical reviews that mentioned low water pressure and poorly installed bathroom fixtures. This was not the case in our room at all! Honestly, I think some people just like to complain. If you are at all concerned, let me counter that with our WONDERFUL experience. ||One thing that we both noticed immediately was the exceptional customer service we have experienced here! Every employee has greeted us with a smile and seems genuinely happy we are their guests! (Truly refreshing!). For example, as we walked into the lobby, I briefly mentioned to my husband that I needed to stop in the store because I left my toothbrush at home. The front desk person walked over a moment later and handed me a disposable toothbrush. I hadn’t even asked!||The quality of this Hilton (everything from housekeeping/cleanliness to the overall customer experience) should be heralded as the benchmark that every Hilton should strive for - in every way.
One of the best ever hotel rooms we've stayed in. The breakfast was superb at a great value cost, a little extra, but so worth it and so much cheaper than restaurants! We loved the cleanliness, the welcome on the screen in our room, the air control, the spacious and helpful facilities that came with the room. The only negative point at all was hearing people walk above us and kids in the corridor, but that's par for the course of course!
Truly excellent all around. I can see why this is one of the top-rated HGI in the country. I reserved 2 rooms using mobile check-in and key with no issues so I can’t comment on much. We arrived at 1am, left at noon on a short overnight stop in Hays during a move. The lobby is unlike any other HGI I’ve stayed at - very upscale. The rooms were clean and comfortable with Honors name on TV on arrival and extra towel req in bathroom.||We had a U-Haul so the parking was a concern but their lot was lit with tons of lights all throughout the lot and felt very safe. Close to several restaurants; their own or Old Chicago.
Fantastic hotel. Very clean and wonderful team of people. I was not sure what to expect having never been to Hays, KS. If I am ever in this area again, this will be my place to say. My only downside and that is getting really picky is the pool towels need to be larger than a kitchen cloth. Thanks for a great stay for me and my family.
Roadtrip from Virginia to Colorado. On a whim we chose this hotel while in Kansas City to get us closer to Colorado and it is wonderful. The rooms are clean and spacious. Even the bathrooms pristine and roomy to get ready in. We chose to stay here again on the way back home and the stuff we encountered were all super friendly. If I drove west again this hotel would be my choice hands down!
