Hilton Garden Inn Destin Miramar Beach - Hotel in Miramar Beach - 220 Scenic Gulf Dr, USA

Clean and quiet. Convenient location right by the beach. Nice size room. Have to request housekeeping service though and good luck with that. Needed to call for fresh towels daily and take out my own trash. Staff was pleasant to deal with. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was good and competitively priced with say a Denny’s but dinner was a different kettle of fish (no pun intended) — pricey and disappointing. But on the whole a relaxing and comfortable four-night stay.

We have stayed here for the past 3 years for our anniversary. This is the first year that I can not give them 5 stars. Our shower water pressure was very low. Also, the towels that we were given had a fowl odor to them. Not sure if it was too much bleach, but whatever it was it was not a pleasant scent. We went downstairs and requested new towels and these smelled much better. Other than that, the room was clean and the service was good. We will stay again but I will make sure we don’t have the same room or check for water pressure before I settle in. This was the first year we have had any problem.

Front desk didn’t greet/ acknowledge members on their status like other locations routinely do. Requested room service everyday, only got it on my last night even after daily requesting it. Daily had to get my own towels and throw away trash. Finally room was dirty, black mold in bathroom and had a broken head board. When this location first opened it was great. It is easily the worst hotel in the area. Do not recommend!

Beautiful location, but bed squeaked loud enough to wake the dead, and room service ignored "do not disturb" sign. Desk called and pestered for a check out time well before check out was required (almost 2 hours before). Pillows were suffocating.

Some of the front desk staff were not friendly at all and did not acknowledge/ greet guests upon walking in or checking out. The house keeping staff were not friendly either . House keeping is complementary so if you need your room serviced, you have to request 1 day in advanced . We stayed three nights and did not request room service, but we did asked for extra towels and coffee , but some of the staff looked bothered when we asked for these things . Upon arrival , toiletries were not refill such as lotion, conditioner, and shampoo were almost emptied. The beds and pillows are extremely uncomfortable, my parents couldn’t sleep well and neither could I. A big bummer is that breakfast is not included. The positive thing is that the hotel is pet friendly. The hotel is NOT beach front , but it’s about 5 minutes walk from the hotel and the hotel also offer a shuttle ( golf cart ride to the beach entrance which takes about 2 minutes to get there . The bartender was friendly and welcoming. The rest of the staff looks like they did not want to be there . We were not very pleased with our stayed there. I considered other hotels , but decided on this one thinking there contoneo breakfast was included , but it wasn’t !!.

Not bad, not great. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach, a grocery store, and several restaurants. Fitness center is clean with decent equipment, but didn't have any towels. The room was ok, the coffee maker was average, and there were no bath towels... notice a trend?

From the time we walked in the guy at the front desk was very nice. Room was very clean, but the bed was very uncomfortable, me and my husband tossed and turned all night.The walls are also thin so you can hear alarm clocks, conversations 🤦🏽‍♀️. We stayed 2 nights and needed more towels, took a few hours to get some. Breakfast you have to pay for 🙄.During check out I stood there for 6 mins while the receptionist going back and forth with a customer (no acknowledgement )on the phone and whisper to me if I’m checking out just drop the key. Didn’t ask what I needed or anything. I actually needed a printed receipt because I was on a business trip but ok. Overall I rate it a 3. Probably won’t be back to this particular location.

They overcharged me 100$ with a 300$ stay even with a military discount. They were absolutely horrible to myself, my children and pets.The auditor or whomever is running this Hilton is not a nice person.I cleaned after my pets she left this note the next following morning after I complained about the toilet being broken, stopped up they never even accommodated me with switching rooms, they lied about my phone app bluetooth door check in it needed to be reset they were lazy and lied said they couldn’t fix that the receptionist in the morning told that was a complete lie of them. The laundry facility was down for renovations closed the whole entire stay you should not have to pay over 400$ to be mistreated. I would give this one zero stars if I could. I have never been so disappointed with Hilton until I stayed here yesterday. No one should make you feel like a inconvenience for having children and pets and they need to focus more on the cigarettes in the dogs potty area instead. I never left one drop of my dogs feces on the ground I always cleans their messes and this is how they treat Hilton members? Needless to say corporation was called. If you have kids and pets I highly advise you to stay at the Tru by Hilton in Destin because the staff does not like them at Hilton Garden Inn and they are lazy, wouldn’t provide toilet paper, bags, towels. Do yourself a favor. Do not stay here!
