Well how to begin this post. First restaurant on site was great, friendly service made you feel welcomed and the food was great. The room- first we booked our room while on the road driving for the past 10 hours. We have stayed in the past at Hilton Garden Inn (other location) so we thought perfect for stopping For the night. The room very spacious but it was a handicap room which we didn't ask for but maybe they are full and that's what they had left. Felt bad hoping no one needed it. During a shower the drain backed up with soap suds the the toilet paper holder just fell off the wall that was held on with duct tape!?! Just thought for the money it would have been a touch nicer. No we are not bougie trust me but for the price..... still a convenient place to stay for traveling on 75..
I stay here a few times per year; actually, between 12 and 15 nights per year over the last several years. What’s good: it’s convenient, fairly clean, the beds are very comfortable and the front desk people are great. What's not good: the food - period - it’s not good at all - end of discussion, also, the bar staff. Horrible attitude of the bar staff. I’ve never enjoyed not tipping like I did here this evening. 😡
This hotel is in a complex of many inns, some new, some rebranded. We’ve stopped here for years. This time was the best. New landscaping is in full bloom and the outside property is spacious with lots of seating, as long as you don’t melt. The lobby is airy and welcoming with coffee, water and cookies. We had a jet tub room, which was huge and along the back. Traffic noise was not bad and the sunrise was spectacular. The restaurant and bar are terrific -see Jim for friendly chatter and recommendations on a nice varied menu.
I was disappointed that there was no continental breakfast. For the price, it seems like a no-brainer. Your competition offers a fantastic breakfast for a slightly cheaper, comparable stay. Your staff was friendly but we had to wait almost five minutes for someone to appear at the counter to check-in. The bar staff told me our dinner would be ready in 15 minutes, but when I came back down to collect it, was told it was going to be another 15 and they would deliver it to our room. But then, they called the room and asked me to come down and get it. Come on, Hilton…I expected more, and you can do better.
We have an actual guide type service dog they recognize but will only give you a room for pets, and the first one was gagging of perfume to cover accidents. The staff are real nice and gave us the next door room. This one smells of smoke but at least we don't have the sickening perfume. The rooms are filthy it's disgusting but we're stuck here and will certainly never come back. Look how dirty the furniture is. This place is dirtier than a Red roof inn, it's gross!
Rooms are not very well kept - small town average cleanliness. The pillows are not King size, and you have to stack all 4 to get the effect of one of my pillows at home. The property is dated and smells musty.
Spacious and clean but the walls are paper thin, noise is a major problem both inside the building and outside street noise. Bring very good ear plugs. The front desk is very helpful and knowledgeable and there is a full service restaurant on site.
The room they gave me smelled like pets had used it as their toilet. We complained to housekeeping, they sprayed the room with air freshener, that only masked the odor temporarily. After my outing, I complained to the front desk. Housekeeping sprayed again. No offer of another room was made, no attempt to remedy the problem was made. My stay was miserable. I felt like I was sleeping in pet urine. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.
Rooms are beautifully kept, clean, great service. We loved seeing all the pets, even though we didnt travel with our own. Breakfast was delicious! Thank you for everything
Wonderful small brewery tucked away in downtown Dalton. They offer flights of FIVE beers rather than the typical four, so we had a chance to sample most of their offerings, which is surprisingly large selection. We found them all quite tasty, but esp
Coffee shop in a church, which isn't a thing for me but may be a problem for you. Yes, you can be a heathen and get your coffee here and even use the internet for an hour or two. On a weekday morning, it was quiet and I had no trouble finding parking
I came in for an earl grey tea latte and some baked goods. The drink and food were excellent. I was also impressed with the service. The woman who runs this cafe is warm-hearted and kind. I would definitely go back here for another visit.
I am so happy that I found this Turkish restaurant in Dalton . I have lived in Turkey for 10 years . When I go to this restaurant all memories came to my mind ( baklava , Turkish music, kebab ⦠) . The food is amazing . We ordered hummus and chicke
My family of 4 went here around 5:30 on a Sunday evening. We were immediately seated. The waitress and, I assume, the owner were very friendly and attentive. The dining area and restroom seemed clean. Some plates were brought to us by the waitress,
Went MTB, as 1st timer. Took two kids. Stayed off the extreme trails, but the rest were well-maintained and easy to navigate. Maps were clear and trails marked. Loved it!
Me, my husband, and my son couldn't be thankful enough to have found this place! We drive OTR and trying to make it home in time for thanksgiving with the family. We weren't showing to get home till about 10 tonight so we figured we might as well fi
Stopped in to try for the first time. Early dinner on a weekday. No wait for a table. Lots to choose from. I ordered the fried shrimp, my wife ordered the shrimp po boy. Both came out relatively quickly and were fresh and hot. No issues, will return
