Hilton Garden Inn Dallas/Richardson - Hotel in Richardson - 1001 President George Bush Tpke, USA

I stayed here 3 nights for business. Pros: good location Friendly and helpful staff Well stocked store for snacks Bed comfortable Cons: THE SMELL. I had to have my 1st room changed as the damp musty odor was making my eyes water and nose stuffy. They efficiently changed room, which still smells but less. I had nasal pressure entire trip with headaches from the room. Bed is super high off floor. If you are older the bed would be hard to get in/out of. Shower has 3 installed wall bottle holders. The body wash is the same as the shampoo, it is filled with shampoo. There is NO fan in bathroom so shower and getting ready with mirror is impossible. Door to bathroom was filthy. Brought Texas BBQ back to room from dinner, placed in refrigerator, next day went in to eat my leftovers, the refrigerator was not even plugged into the wall. I lost my expensive meal.

I like this hotel when you walk in the tall and spacious lobby. You will smell chlorine, but it is not a bad thing since there is a pool inside the hotel. The rooms look well built, and there are NO SKETCHY issues in the building. I like the furniture as well looks good quality and durable. The cleanliness is perfect. In addition, the hotel provides towels, a microwave, a coffee maker, bed sheets, a pillow, a desk, and a TV with channels. The only downside is I wasn't aware the "tap payment" wouldn't work all the time. As well they don't accept cash (with a deposit fee)

Great little hotel. Well equipped rooms including refrigerators, microwave, coffee maker. Impeccably clean. Nicely refreshed during Covid, the rooms are spacious, comfortable beds and linens, excellent location, all at a very fair price. ||Had a family event here -- essentially took over the lobby -- and the staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful. I'm a frequent guest and always have a great stay here.

I was booked at this hotel from our insurance company for me to have surgery. I'm definitely grateful I didn't have to pay for it but I would not want to stay again even for free. It smelled when you walked in like a strong bleach and mildew kind of smell. The room wasn't much better smelling and the pillows where just as bad. Like their bedding was washed in dirty water or something. Also I'm thankful that I didn't have to come back after knee surgery and stay like it was planned because they put me on the top floor all the way at the end. No way I could have done that right after knee surgery. The lady at the front desk wasn't very friendly or pleasant for checking in. The best thing about the whole place was the friendly bartender who happened to also be the waiter as well. I can't remember his name but he was great and probably the best thing about the hotel. So if your looking for a great hotel with a friendly welcoming staff, this was not it. Was booked for 4 days and 3 nights, I stayed 1 night, my husband stayed 2 and then we left.

This was our first time at this property. Wonderful location. Was upgraded to the King Suite on the 4th floor // fabulous room .. amazing shower and lots of hot water.||Bed was good.||Breakfast was amazing. Being a Diamond member, we were offered $10/per person to cover. A lady by the name of Anna prepared a wonderful cheese omelet. Since she was by yourself, she couldn't prepare french toast or pancakes, but glad I picked the omelet.||Fabulous danish and lots of other options on the buffet, which is included with the omelet.||It was $15 for the omelet .. some properties will cover the difference if you are a Diamond member, but not this property.||Staff very professional ... Michael checked us in .. Very upbeat the friendly. Connie is the sales person, and she was wonderful too. ||I would return 'cause it has direct access to the freeways and it is super quiet.||There is a small charge for parking, which I am not sure why, but ....

My stay at this Hilton Garden was enjoyable. The staff was friendly and responsive. "The Shop" was well stocked, ice machine on my floor was clean. After a long day standing, I was able to soak my weary feet in the hot tub. Best of all, the shower water pressure was absolutely awesome in the morning. Well done Hilton Garden Inn Richardson, recommend and will stay again on my next trip. Thanks.

Our family was affected by the severe, recent storms in Dallas and we lost power for four days. With no estimate of when power would return, we decided around bedtime on day two to get a hotel. Because we waited, most hotels were booked, but we found a room at the Hilton Garden Inn in Richardson. We received a confirmation number and immediately started packing. Shortly thereafter, we got a call back saying there was a scheduling glitch and the room wasn't available after all. We felt very defeated at that point, and ended up choosing a low-priced motel that was fairly far from home and not in the nicest part of town. Around 11PM, we received a call from Dan, the night manager at Hilton. He said they did, in fact, have a room – and he would hold it for us. We immediately changed course and went to the Hilton. Dan was amazingly receptive and friendly, which we so sorely needed after the stress of that evening and the prior two days. The room was extremely clean and comfortable and we had the best night's sleep. We stayed for two days until our power finally returned. We were so grateful that Dan went above and beyond and called us back to offer us the room. He could easily have rented it to the next available person. We will be recommending any out-of-town guests to stay at this location and we’ll be back if we ever need a room again. Thank you, Dan!

Great hotel. Checked me in very early; I mean at 11:30! I got there much sooner than expected and they were very nice and accommodating. Rooms were wonderful. Front desk excellent. ||Only concern was I ordered the "made to order" breakfast and the cook told the waitress to just get it form the buffet. When I pointed this out, she said the cook would told here to do this. I was so impressed with her honesty that I gave here a tip. The front desk didn't charge me. Again the front desk is outstanding.
