Hilton Garden Inn Clifton Park - Hotel in Clifton Park - 30 Clifton Country Rd, USA

The warm welcome in the beautiful lobby set us up for a disappointing room. The bed was terribly uncomfortable (although I suppose that is subjective). The sheets didn’t fit the bed, so they tangled every time you rolled. The toilet needs a new ring, not 17 more layers of caulking, which are leaking all over the bathroom floor. The bathroom fan didn’t work. The water in the shower screamed while you used it. The coffee pot was broken. And to cap it off, our only view was the hotel roof full of ac units. Completely overpriced for a subpar room. I wish I could give the staff separate stars because they were super warm and friendly! Everyone we met was kind and seemed genuine. Lastly - please don’t think this hotel has a real pool. It’s slightly larger than the hot tub.

This hotel is out dated the room gives red roof vibes, pay by the hour. I arrived as a diamond member and wasn’t offered a Hilton honor bag I had to ask on return while going to the car to grab my bags. Upon arriving at my room oh wait let me back up I checked in online and picked the room I wanted when I was given my room keys they changed my room to a room at the end of the hall behind a door I never have stayed at hotel with door in the hall it was just two rooms behind the door in my mind I thought what if someone locks me behind the door the lady at front desk said the room I picked was a pet room so they switched me and I’ll be at the end of the hall by myself. Ok so I get to room it’s like a motel inside this thing had stains on the bed, rust in bathroom, dust on top of furniture; I knew I couldn’t stay here for long behind a trap door and beside dried s ex stains do not stay here if your clean and have decent standards if you need a place to smash then by all means leave your stains, dust and rust. Pics included even got the random hall way trap door!

Whenever we visit our son and his family in Burnt Hills, NY, we stay here at the Hilton Garden Inn in Clifton Park. We normally use Hilton points to stay here as it's the most reasonably priced points hotel in the area and with Hilton Honors, if you pay for four nights with points, the fifth night is free which is a great benefit. Staff are super nice, rooms are clean and decent, lobby is very inviting and breakfast is good. The only issue with the breakfast I have is that if you don't want the buffet, (carbs, more carbs, yogurt, fruit) but want just eggs and sausage, you still have to pay for the buffet, even if you are not using any of it! Breakfast staff are very nice, but for sure there is one chef that is better than the other as we had five breakfasts here, and when the good chef was there, the eggs and potatoes were perfectly cooked, but when the "other" chef is cooking, the eggs and potatoes come out burnt. I did mention this to the breakfast manager and on our last morning she very kindly comped our breakfast. |On the plus side, they have a nice indoor heated pool and spa, again something the other hotels in the Clifton Park area do not have, some have pools but having a jacuzzi here is a very nice bonus. The management also allow me to bring my grandkids over to use the pool which I really appreciate. We will continue to come here 1-2 times a year as they take good care of us and the hotel is well positioned, with the mall and many restaurants and the movie theatre nearby.

Enjoyed this hotel while attending a competition. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff was very nice and more than helpful. Nice to be attached to the local mall. So many choices to eat in the surrounding areas. Pool was small but nice.

The parking for hotel is basically nonexistent. It is for the movie theater and shopping mall. The hotel itself is fine. Not very convenient. The beds were pretty horrible. Lumpy. Go somewhere else. I think the hotel is more suited for business clients.

Positive: Hotel staff, location, and bar were great! Its connected to a mall with a Sky Zone & Regal theatre. Tons of stores, restaurants, and grocery stores all in walking distance. Bar had happy hour which all of us parents took advantage of kids played. Negative: Ummm my rooms shower made the most annoying high pitch sound while the water was running!!!! OMG ear piercing loud. Other than that...the room and all the extras were great

Rooms were nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff was attentive and friendly. Located by shopping and restaurants even a movie theater. Hoped it would include breakfast with the price but that's my only complaint!

Expensive. Had a nice experience. Pool looked nice but was too crowded to use. Did make use of the fitness center. Attached to a restaurant/bar which was good. There are many other hotels nearby as well as a shopping mall. Front desk was always helpful and kind.
