Hilton Garden Inn Buffalo Downtown - Hotel in Buffalo - 10 Lafayette Square, USA

We recently hosted our family reunion here. The staff was absolutely exceptional. From our planner Tasha, the front desk staff, the server for our event, the chef, to the maintenance staff! The banquet food was very good. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I give them 5 stars 🌟 for their service. The Davis Family thoroughly enjoyed our time in Buffalo and this staff played a big role in how smoothly the event went. Thank you all for an unforgettable experience!

The hotel was clean and well kept, the staff were very friendly and helpful, they even have a security person in the lobby area and you cannot get up to the rooms without scanning your room card adding an extra level of safety. We felt very safe in a new area when in the hotel. Buffalo was not the best city but the hotel was good.

Not a good stay. Sorry for the rant... when I asked for directions to the off-site parking, I was told to "scan the code" several times, even though I was confused by the traffic pattern outside. Not very welcoming. The room was ok, but the furniture had stains on it, and there was not enough bedding or towels. The phones (both) in the suite did not work, so it was hard to ask for help. The next morning I desperately needed coffee and was told "we don't do that" in the lobby. I would have to wait an hour for the restaurant to open, or buy unmade coffee in the lobby store. I expect more from a Hilton stay, or at least I used to. Avoid this place.

Front Desk and Restaurant Staff are great. Clean Room not so much. Please review the picture. I was in the bed when I discovered the bedspread was not clean. At 8PM called the front desk, 30 minutes or so. Nice guy changed the bed out. Asked if the second bed needed changing, said back I just won't sit on it, no need.

Our experience was outstanding. Though the hotel is aging, the service is stellar and the amount of space in our room was substantial. Adjanea (spelling?) was especially helpful and went the extra mile to provide a room location that meant a great deal to me. I requested a view of the monument in the square, which my great-great grandfather helped to place. Adjanea made two phone calls to staff to ensure I'd end up with that view. Way to go!

Positive: The staff was very nice, hotel lobby and room were exceptionally clean. Parking was easy and just a block from the hotel. The bed was comfortable and I loved that the room included a mini-fridge and microwave. The view from the eighth floor was gorgeous! Negative: On the right-hand bedside table, there is a single electric plug to charge your phone on a lamp and my plug was shorted out. An easy and inexpensive upgrade would be a USB charger/electricity hub on this table. Negative: ""

I'm not sure how to change it but when you GPS this place, at least for me it takes you very around it!! However hotel was great, students enjoyed the hotel, rooms were clean. We got there before check in for convention and the front desk was very helpful with our bags and changing as we had 20 min til a contest!

So far our stay has been nice. Clean room...minor camper damage and some stains but carpet is old. Room has an odor maybe from last guest perfume I am not sure. But room is clean. Stopped by the restaurant on 2nd floor and they are open for breakfast 7 to 10. 7.99 continental...and basically 14.99 everything else. Parking is 18 a nite in and out. Its across the street and within walking distance...took a min to find it when we went around the block...building with flowers is in sight of the lot for raise of you like me that need a visual. Nice view of the lake from our room. Staff have been very friendly at all our questions. Hope this is a new place for us to stay! Ps elevators won't go up unless you have a room key nice safety feature!
