Hilton Garden Inn Beaufort - Featured Reviews (934)
Figured I would spend a little more and stay at the Hilton. Bad idea. Supposed to be free breakfast it was 20 bucks per person. You can go to the nice restaurants for the same price as eggs in a carton at Hilton. The mattress was absolutely garbage. No shampoo in the container. It smells like it's been flooded. At least use some spray to try and hide it. I'm usually not this rough on a review but sorry for what I payed I got ripped off bad. That's my 2 cents.
I will seek other options for my next visit to this area. I stayed at this hotel for three nights. When I entered Room 411, I could not determine where a very distinct mildew smell originated. I didn't know if it was the carpet tiles or the bathroom..... as there was visible mold/mildew in the corners of the shower. There were different types and lengths of hair in the shower. The water in the shower and faucet never got hot or even warm. The water from both was barely lukewarm. All the white linens were stained.... not dingy, but stained. I don't understand why housekeeping would use stained white pillowcases, stained white fitted sheets and stained white bath towels. There are definite housekeeping issues as this hotel.
For a 1 night stay, it was just what we needed. |Clean rooms and friendly staff! |We had to change rooms twice because we needed two beds but kept getting a King. Thomas was helpful in resolving the issue. The third time he gave us two beds.|Parking was convenient because it was right across the street. |Amenities in room stocked, linens were clean and coffee station full. |Price was reasonable for the one night.
A very relaxing stay is what it is!! Stayed here for an MCRD Parris Island graduation, and it couldn't have worked out any better.
Rooms are quite spacious with plenty of amenities. From what I saw, they have a business center, bar, snack bar, lounge, and they do serve breakfast.
The location is about 15-20 minutes from the front gate with plenty of eateries along the way. I do recommend it for pleasure and business, and for couples and families.
Hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did. Photos are from two different rooms. First was a king bed room. The next was a handicap accessible king bed suite. Also, if you would like a place to relax, this hotel has access to a beautiful marshland view with weeping willows directly behind it.
Semper Fi to all those that have become, are becoming, and will become a United States Marine!!
When does the Manager Work?||I have been trying to resolve an issue about my stay with the General Manager but he is never at work. I called him Monday and got his voicemail. Came by Tuesday and he wasn’t there. Which I understood because of the storm. Stopped by today and they said come back after 7pm. I come back and NO MANAGER! |What does it take to get a returned call or to catch the manager at work? The quality of this hotel has decreased greatly with this manager. I’m going to take my business somewhere else where my opinion and money are appreciated.
This was one of the worst hotel stays we've ever had and so disappointing because we are local and would love to recommend it to family coming to visit. There were several safety issues in our room, stains on the mattresses and the chair, smoke alarm dangling from the wall. The front desk person (older white guy) was apathetic but not unfriendly. We were happy to do the 50 dollar incidental hold but now we have a 17 dollar charge posted and all we purchased were 2 3 dollar bags of candy. We had a knock on our door at 9am on checkout day which woke us from one of 2 rare mornings of sleeping in.
There is an obvious management issue at this hotel. My wife and I entered through the back entrance to hear members of the staff being very loud and obnoxious. Once we reached the front desk, we stood there for about three minutes which does not sound like that long, but it is when the front desk staff (2) do not even look up the greet you before acknowledging you are there. Then there was no greeting, just “What can I do for you?” in a grumpy voice with a “do not care look”. Spending $200 plus dollars on a room for one night should be met with some sort of hospitality. Understanding that this is hard to come by these days, but I still miss it. The rest of the hotel was average at best. Room was semi clean, but the air conditioner had trouble keeping up.
From the start where there was no signage directing us to the front of the hotel, to checking in as a diamond member without the usual welcome pack, we should’ve known it was a sign. The room was clean but was missing the little things like pen and notepaper, no clock, and no tub drain plug. Our first night surprised us at 430 am when the fire alarm began chirping, indicating it needed a new battery. Guessing they don’t have a maintenance routine for that. And the second night, from the room above us, we could hear every step of their movement across the floor, movement and dropping of furniture or luggage, and the tv until midnight. Got very little sleep…. Very disappointed in this Hilton hotel.
What a Gem! VERY kind and welcoming staff. VERY clean and simple rooms. Excellent location as many have said. Walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants and park overlooking water. GREAT air conditioning, clean pool. If going back to the area wo
Exceeded our expectations, what a treat! The room was lovely and extremely comfortable, the house is stunning and the location is perfect. The true gem of the Rhett House however is the staff. We felt instantly welcomed and were treated as treasured
We were so tired of driving and were welcomed with water bottles for being members. Such a quiet little spot. Perfectly placed near the main roads. They have a gas station and sandwich spot conveniently near by. Nice and clean. They have a board of r
It's a nice hotel and the rooms are clean.
My only issue was there I saw 2 bugs in the bathroom. Yes, it was clean and I assume it's because the building is so big that you can't expect to get rid of them completely since it's cold now.
Still, it w
The staff was so helpful and accommodating. I accidentally only booked one room for our 2 night trip @ a travel website. I called before we left home and they, thankfully, had room to let us stay the second night. Good breakfast options. Comfy bed. Q
Easily accessible by car and by foot. Great parking, easy mobile entry. Close to downtown. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the bridge and the harbor. The building was extremely clean, updated and well kept. There was a common kitchen area o
Super delicious tacos, and the friendliest service. Birria is some of the best I've had in my life. Inexpensive prices. Mango juice is really fresh and tasty too.
I have been training Jiu Jitsu here for maybe 6 months or so and the instruction is very high level. We learn a lot every class. Also there is a nice balance between instruction and rolling. We do 1 hour class and 30 minutes rolling each day. There i
We dined here for family night and our group had a great time. The inside was very pretty and decorated nicely for the Christmas holiday. Staff was friendly. Beers were cold. Food was very good too!! Stroganoff, pilaf, chicken/sausage gumbo, steamed
This place used to be great and had the best thin crust pizza. But now they have changed to a THICK crust that tastes like dry raw dough. Their menu does not indicate the change and has no options for crust style. We threw our entire pizza in the tra
