Hilton Garden Inn Arcadia/Pasadena Area - Featured Reviews (866)
I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Arcadia/Pasadena Area. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean, which made for a comfortable experience. The pool was decent, providing a nice spot to relax, though it was nothing extraordinary. One thing to note is that breakfast isn't included, so plan accordingly. However, the quality of the service more than made up for this. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Overall, a fantastic stay—highly recommended!
I want to thank Pauline who greeted me right away also was very helpful to me at the front desk she was very nice and professional. She also helped with recommending things to do around the area and places to eat. Had a good stay here.
The hotel is in the process of renovation. The lobby was nice and clean. The carpet of hallways were dirty. There is a small fridge and a small microwave in the room as well as a K cup coffee maker. Diamond member parking at front was small and was difficult to park a SUV. $10 food and beverage credits per person each day if you are gold or diamond member. But the credits have to be used each day and cannot accumulate during the stay. The breakfast buffet is $16-17 per person. The credits are not good enough if you have children. But they do offer free coffee and tea during the breakfast time .
The A/C did not work, and we had maintenance try and fix it for 2 hours. Before midnight, they said we could either try and sleep without A/C, move rooms, or find a different hotel. Since my kids were tired, and it was midnight, we stayed. We moved rooms, and the receptionist said we couldn't get compensation for it since they gave us a different room and because we used a 3rd party app to book the room. The beds were uncomfortable and aggravated my rheumatoid arthritis. In the morning, I could not stand up straight as the pain in my back was too great. After painfully and slowly shuffling to the receptionist, I was given a free breakfast and a small discount for the hassle my family was put through. I just wanted to leave quickly so I could grab some painkillers and forget the horrible experience. It's definitely a hard pass for anyone looking for a hotel to stay at.
We stayed here for 5 nights with our infant daughter and medium/small dog. We chose this location due to its proximity to LA General Medical Center where my husband would be doing a training seminar combined with safety of the area the hotel is located in. Overall we were very pleased with this hotel and weren’t really sure where all of the bad reviews are coming from. The rooms have been refreshed with new linens as well as a remodeled bathroom which were both very clean looking and smelling, and the AC blew ice cold. It was also nice to have a mini fridge and microwave. The only issue we encountered that we encounter with practically every hotel is that the doors slam shut even with the slow close mechanism. This woke us and our baby up occasionally on some nights, particularly Friday and Saturday night. To be expected though with any low-medium budget hotel. I do wish that with all the money they spent on remodeling the showers that they would have added a bigger, wider shower head. It was too small the heat up the humongous size of the walk-in shower and so I was freezing the whole time. We loved that this hotel had free parking, wi -fi and a flat fee for a pet instead of a nightly fee. I also felt safe walking our dog and daughter around during the day. I think the price combined with what you get at this hotel absolutely makes it worth the stay! We would stay here again. The guests
This stay was a big save by personel in hotel.|I made the mistake of booking through traveluro.com they charged my card but didn't pay the hotel, so basically when I checked on booking the hotel explained that traveluro didn't pay, and couldn't book me til hotel got payment. |Long story short Kristen was awesome, gave me a better rate to make up for my inconvenience (although it was through no fault of the hotel).|Also rooms clean, breakfast is good, and people were very helpful and courteous.|Tip: breakfast is cheaper if you pay ahead in reservation, as opposed to paying it when you are eating.
We generally enjoy our stay at this Hilton, but todays visit, not so great. We made our reservation and expected the normal room…a sitting area, a couple of TVs, normal size queen beds, etc. when we got to our room, it was a plain room, the dead bolt is installed wrong and won’t lock and the beds seem to be “full” suze and not queens. The mattress is smaller than the box springs, and are old and hard. It’s not horrible, but trying to figure out why we’re paying the same price for a sub par room as we did the nicer rooms with decent beds and better room amenities.
I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at the Hilton Garden Hotel. I was excited to bring my parents and wife for a pleasant stay, but unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected. Upon check-in, I informed the front desk that I am a Gold Member. However, I was told that since I booked the room through a third-party service, I would not accumulate points. Additionally, when I inquired about the complimentary bottled water typically offered to Gold Members, the staff refused to provide it. Shortly after entering our room, we encountered a large cockroach on the bathroom floor, which was larger than my thumb. This incident frightened my wife. I immediately reported this to the front desk, but their response was underwhelming. They merely said they would send someone to catch the cockroach and informed us that there were no available rooms for us to switch to. Furthermore, no compensation was offered for this unpleasant experience. To make matters worse, the air conditioning in our room was extremely loud and could not be completely turned off. Even after switching it off, it would automatically restart after a while. Additionally, we could clearly hear footsteps from the room above, causing the entire room to feel like it was vibrating. Given the severity of these issues, I believe we should have been offered a complimentary room as compensation. This experience was far from the high standards I have come to expect from Hilton hotels, and I am extremely disappointed.
Very nice and cozy wine & beer bar near metro station. It seems like they have a nice selection of wines and cigars for selling as well. You can order taste size 1 oz, and conventional 6 oz and half glass of wine as well, and has various house wines

A super amazing historic cottage within the grounds of the L.A. County Arboretum. It's open for visitation sometimes, but not always. This was known as Elias Jackson ("Lucky") Baldwin's cottage, which was apparently constructed in the 1880s as a hone
