We had a three night stay here and had a wonderful experience. Location was walking distance to the historic areas. We had a studio room that had many amenities. Front desk staff were courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful. Housekeeping staff provided beautiful clean rooms. A special shout out to Dawn (concierge) & staff. Because of her knowledge and expertise we were able to fit in many activities in a very short time at great discounts. Quintin (Lounge manager) and Lmanuel (bartender extraordinaire) both helped make our stay memorable. Can’t wait to go back!!!
Everything I heard proved to be so. Certainly worth the stay if you have a chance. Stayed in a beautiful one bedroom that was spacious and well appointed during the holiday season. It was quiet and peaceful just as I needed to get work done. Things that stood out - two great TVs, warm water always without the waste of running it, comfortable bed, great shower, and terrific water closet with bidet.
The staff was attentive and helpful from the valet to front desk. Didn't talk with housekeeping but obviously had done a great job before my arrival.
I will definitely be back. Special thanks to everyone who made my stay restful and complete.
Fantastic place to stay in Charleston. The Hilton Club Liberty Place is a beautiful building in a great location. Its walking distance to shops and restaurants without being right amongst all the busyness. Hotel rooms are really spacious and well equipped and the location provides a laundry service too which is very convenient. They have a bar inhouse which has a great menu and overall a lovely experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Charleston
This place was 5 star excellent. With a bar downstairs and a small eatery for those that didn't care to leave the hotel. The bar would be top notch if their were more food selections such as wings, chips and dip. The small Cafe could also have more food selections for breakfast. Overall, the accommodations were top tier, it was clean and quiet. The rooms were spacious beautifully decorated. I will definitely visit again.
Hotel was ok. There are better options in better locations. We’ve stayed at the Embassy Suites just across the bridge in Mt Pleasant several times and they offered us a discounted stay to try this new hotel, and we much prefer ES. The ES balcony rooms have views of the harbor, complementary happy hour drinks and breakfast, and parking is half the price. $45/day parking here is a lot, and it’s per day, not per night, so we parked for $18/day at a garage 1 block away.
Room here was nicely decorated, with some high end touches, but lots of visible poor craftsmanship. The tile/grout work was sloppy throughout, the bathroom hook lock was not aligned to actually use, and the balcony while spacious, just faced the hotel and no view. Would also not recommend top floor balcony as it’s uncovered versus lower floors.
The staff was all very nice, but the hotel lacked amenities. It’s not as walkable to the historic district as other hotels. For the farther location, they should make up for it with things like a spa or room service. There’s really no reason we would select this location again.
They have added limited coffee options and a few snacks at the bar, but no restaurant for lunch/dinner and limited breakfast items at the coffee/smoothie bar. Also no market to pickup snacks or water as most hotels have. I will say the larger suites with full kitchen were quite nice for a family, but for a couple, there are better hotel rooms in the historic district.
This Hilton club property is only for vacation club owners so we went here only for a timeshare presentation and the property was really beautiful and located in a quiet place. We took a tour in the building and were able to see a studio and a one bedroom unit during our presentation and both were really lovely and awesome! It looks and feels very fresh and clean inside the building. Loved seeing it even though didn't get to stay there.
What a beautiful room we had! Gourmet kitchen, lovely living room, beautiful rain shower marble shower and a comfortable bed! We loved the room darkening blinds which were appreciated! Easily walkable to any place we wanted to see, very quiet as well. We absolutely loved it!||We were actually debating if we could live in this size room when we retire! Would like a balcony though. That would have been the only thing I’d add.
We enjoyed Liberty Place, We had a studio plus room and it was very nice. The staff couldn't be nicer. Be sure to take the history tour offered by the GM of the hotel. It is in a great location. Just a couple of blocks from the aquarium and Fort Sumter boat. We walked everywhere, which was good because we ate everywhere we went! Great food in Charleston!
