**Hilltop Inn - Avoid at All Costs** I had the misfortune of staying at the Hilltop Inn, and it was hands down the nastiest motel I've ever encountered. From the moment I walked into the room, I knew I had made a mistake. The place was infested with bed bugs, roaches, and spiders. The bathroom was filthy—I'm talking about dirt in every corner and a toilet with a busted tank lid. To top it off, the AC unit didn't even have filters, making the air quality just as bad as the rest of the room. Even the walls were grimy and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. Despite all of this, when I requested a refund, they only gave me my money back for one night, even though I had paid for two. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere where you won’t have to worry about what’s crawling in your bed at night.

Needed a room last minute to sleep for a long drive, barely slept due to bed bug bites that im allergic to itching real bad, told front desk in the morning and all I got was "oh, Should have told us." And yeah would not recommend.

This place has rat badly the run the motel. They dont have good towels. No breakfast bad wifi. The ppl that clean the rooms are sketchy. The maintenance man is stretchy. Not worth your money. Also they have burnt up rooms. This place has went all the way down since the name changed

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and that's saying a lot. In one word? SKETCHY. This place is NOTHING like most of the pictures you'll find on Google maps or Expedia and is dangerous, filthy, and frightening. The small television did not work, the remote was filthy and encrusted with food, the towels were stained, there was something spilled all over the floor and was sticky and had visible dirt everywhere. The lights that did work (about half of them) randomly flickered off. Every surface was disgusting. Even the small, broken television had a hand smear of something sticky on it. The dresser was missing the drawer pulls and knobs, but the drawers would gradually slide open on their own into the walkway... Thus ensuring shin bruises on the way to the bathroom. I don't think the toilet has ever been cleaned but it did include a plunger and you'll find out quickly why as soon as you try to flush anything more than water. Parking level is closed, so only lot parking. Pool closed. No access to the lobby at any time. All contact with staff is through the night window no matter the time of day.

Had wait 20 min to get in room. An TV don't work

We had nothing but problems here in the room we are in we had rats in here and roaches and they wouldn’t change the sheets or bring us any towels or toilet paper and the toilet was always clogged up it was a horrible service

This place has made a complete turn around since the new owners and staff have been around all the complaints were during this turnover period and was a necessary in order to get the property up to par (which looks awesome now) and to make it a much safer and secure than it ever was before . The staff all have put there all into making hilltop a place a family can feel secure and comfortable while staying in a clean updated room that I must say are well worth the very affordable prices charged. It's refreshing to see how the staff work so hard together to resolve even the smallest issues you can ask for anything day or night and not feel like a burden but more like family I'm completely amazed at the remarkable turn around this place has made you can actually feel the pride and values that have been poured into the hilltop . The reviews I read were exactly what was of this place no doubt but can honestly say that you can't find a better place to stay that even compares to what this place has become especially for the prices and hospitality and the extra added safety that's provided as well as clean updated room . What once was is no longer . I challenge anyone to test my review and check it out you won't be disappointed I'm sure . So thanks to all the staff at the hilltop for taking a place known for bad reviews and violence and making it what it is a safe comfortable place for the whole family that you can afford. You community around you sees you, and are proud to have you, your impact has touched everyone around you in a positive and welcoming way .. amazing work hilltop I'm impressed and encourage you to keep up the great work . Five stars and you folks have earned it..
