Hillside Hotel Queens - Hotel in Jamaica - 140-17 Queens Blvd, USA

When I called the hotel I was immediately, transferred to the front desk. Unfortunately I could hardly understand what the manager was saying. So that was the first obstacle I had. The rooms were definitely, to pricey for this area (11435). The sheets on the bed were dingy. Overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

We stayed in two different rooms. Both rooms were dirty, dingy, cigarette burns in the bedding, sticky carpet/floor, etc. Took cold showers due to no hot water. The first room had BLOOD stains on the ceiling. We alerted front desk the next day and they checked the room and even took pictures. Then they moved us to a second room that was just as dingy as the first. When I called the 3rd party vendor we booked the room through to get a refund after we had completed our stay (did not want to cause a fuss while staying there due to fear that hotel staff or guests put the blood on the ceiling. No way of knowing and fearing safety). We were unable to get a refund due to hotel refusing to give us refund despite showing the proof of the blood on the ceiling. Do NOT recommend as not only are the rooms a biohazard but hotel does not care to make it right. Customer service is trash. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

This was the most horrific hotel experience I have ever had. The room was freezing because the person who stayed there before me opened the window to smoke a cigarette. The window was unable to be closed properly and I slept in a 40 degree room all night. I used two towels as blankets because they didn’t have any. The room was filthy and disgusting. There was cigarette ash all over the counters and an actual cigarette bud on the floor when I walked in. Everything was sticky and you could tell the room hadn’t been cleared. The sheets were stained. I got in at 7am from JFK and booked the 4 hour stay so I didn’t have to pay the full price. At 10:47, the front desk lady banged on my door, woke me up, and said I needed to leave the hotel or pay for another night. What an awful experience.

The worst place and Customers service I've ever Experienced. The room was nasty, made complaints and nothing was done. Bein it was late and we were tired, we slept. When morning came, we made a complain, and the female was So Rude, Nasty and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I would Never Recommend anyone to stay there. It looked like a Homeless shelter. Not a good place to relax. I had to take my disinfect out my car to clean the bathroom. Unsanitary!!!!

Nasty, very very nasty, the towels were dirty, the room was filthy, the sheets with stain, the carpet was full of dust and you have to pay over 180 dollars for a tiny room,the tv wasn’t working and they charge you extra 20 dollar for every hour for late check in. I was asking for the refund because I didn’t want to stay and the guy in the front desk told me that I can’t get not refund so I had to stayed against of my will, run run run do not go to that nasty place. Ps not parking at all.

This is the nastiest hotel i’ve ever been to. It stinks soo bad like you can’t even breath in the room. The bed had hair on it before i even sat on it. The bedsheets weren’t washed and the pillows stank super bad. Their bathroom was the smelliest and dirtiest place. Their carpet stank so bad too. No heat it AC working. And the lights were on in my room before i got in there.

I'm taking them to court at long last after a miserable night of being scared in the room while the police were just outside my door trying to break into an adjacent room. The banging and calling out " come out of the room!" by the police sounded as though it were my door. The room itself was freezing because of a broken heater and when a man came to investigate he was creepy, asking me if I was single or if I had a sister. I was running a fever and sick or I would have left. I didn't feel I had the strength or financial resources at the time to get to another place so late. I was very reasonable and understanding with the hotel who claimed I would get , at the very least, a good chunk of my money returned to me, but all I got was the run around. I'll be filing in court this week.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! ||YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.! ||||This place is dirty and sticky, they said it was wax, but I saw the man maid or whatever they are spray raid roach killer on the counter and nightstands and wipe it down…. ||||That’s why it’s sticky or Atlease that’s what I thought until last night, we used to stay here before when they first opened up. Everything was great back in 2016/17, it’s went so far down hill at this point the owners basically left it and bought a new hotel next door….|| Literally right next door….|| They refuse to acknowledge they even own it on the phone,|||| so I walked in and they remembered me and basically said get your family out and come to this hotel, so from the beginning They said leave it and come next door but I already moved luggage in ps4 laptop and filled up the fridge, ||||worse mistake I ever made, it didn’t look that bad from the beginning of my 2 week stay, ||||So 3 days in I basically bought a table cloth to put over the “wax” that makes the tables so sticky and gross, ||on the 4th day I saw them spray the raid and wipe.. no water no soap.. just plan raid I was shocked and used sanitizer everything 20 min on my hands.. ||||on the 5th day I heard screaming and shouting at the front desk, my door is very close to the front desk.. basically it was a pimp who was mad they “charged he’s girls mad money every hour when the room is 130 a day “ I didn’t really pay attention to it though, a hotel is a hotel after all… so I just ignored it and got back on ps4, ||||on the 6th day my sister and her husband came over and they have kids like 5 and 7 years old, they found a lil baggie taped under the table in my room full of condoms…. See pic attached… it was very disgusting we called the front desk and they said “so what? Do you want us to come throw it out?” Any other place would have freaked out and try to make it up to the customer but again I gave them the benefit of the doubt and let it go,|||| on the 7th day when I was thinking twice about paying for another week but since I was lazy again I figured it’s just me I could deal with it, so I told the front desk at 9:30am id be paying for another week but I want another room please, they said” check out is at 10am and it’s 9:30 so if you want another room you must leave that room first” witch was fine but they said “I need to put up another deposit because they’re taking the deposit on that room because check out is 10am and they use the deposit for late fees” I said but isn’t checkout 11am? They were speechless and said again “they’re taking the deposit for late fees” I said after all the horrible things that happened here in your hotel now your trying to steal my deposit?, || I want to talk to the owner about this immediately if you don’t call them I’ll go talk to them nextdoor about this, ||again he tried to makeup more stuff about late fees and they can’t return the deposit, I said I’ll be back im going next door to talk to them, then he goes “ wait wait I can give you the deposit but then you can’t come back here, something about being banned? ||||I said that’s fine and after I checked out n got my deposit back I went next door anyway, the owners apologized and said “I’m right checkout is 11 but if I was staying another week they’re shouldn’t have been a late fee Since I wasn’t leaving, so I’m pretty sure they fired him, ||||So Do Yourself A Favor And DONT EVER STAY HERE!
