As a resident for going on 3 years, I must say that my experience here has been great. The staff has always been incredibly friendly and maintenance has always been prompt when handling any requests. Joining the staff has made me gain an even greater sense of how wonderful this complex is. Having to manage such a large community with only a few members on the team, makes me appreciative of how well the staff has always handled things with ease and grace. Our residents make working here so fun and exciting. I love how we’ve made them feel more welcome to stop in the office and grab a snack or just hang out and do homework. The amenities are top tier and i’m excited to use the new gym and clubhouse. Even the security guards are friendly and always doing their job. Having the security, locked gate, and cameras makes me feel extremely safe. I couldn’t ask for a better living and working environment. I will be incredibly sad to leave but will hold all of these memories and my apartment very near and dear to my heart.

Hillside is a very nice place to live in Tuscaloosa. Its very spacious and generally safe. Maintenance is super fast and respectful. Management solve concerns as quickly as they can and are very helpful. Overall, very worth it to live here if you can. The only thing I can complain about is the appliances being a bit outdated.

I love living here! I have had no problems. The maintenance is super fast. It’s also only a couple minutes away from campus. Everyone is friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

hillside will introduce you to one of the best atmospheres you’ll ever find in the apartment world. a fully modernized apartment with top notch furniture and appliances. one of the safest most secure communities you’ll be in with 24/7 security. my girlfriend lives here and i wouldn’t hesitate to move here myself. if you want to feel at home, hillside is the place for you!!

Great tour by Mia!! Showed me the 2bed/2bath layout, explained everything including move-in fees. Answered all of my questions flawlessly, and without hesitation!

I have thoroughly enjoyed living here since I began this semester. They make the move-In process very simple and it is a chill place to live. The amenities are also nice and I look forward to the clubhouse being built. It is also very close to campus which makes the commute much easier.

Wouldn't recommend if you are relatively sensitive to noise as I do. Management is moderately responsive to noise complaints (the front desk lady Niesha is nice) but ultimately they can't really do anything because the soundproofing of the buildings is just bad. If you get irresponsible neighbors (or roommates, if you are sharing an apartment) it could be very miserable. You can hear them talking and walking when you are trying to sleep at night. I guess you get what you pay for, but I don't even think it is that cheap relative to market. The major plus is the location. It is VERY convenient if you work/study at UA.
