Best dog park I've been to so far in Portland. Me and my pups love love love the open field! All the dogs and owners so far have been great. We have become regulars here although I'm still confused on where the bridge is from pictures lol I thought I had walked all over but I must be wrong 😅 more exploring to do yet! Great trail selection everything from smooth easy manicured laps to steep up the side of the hill walking on tree roots 🫡🫶💖 love it and my Shepard has never been so happy!
A very calming place and unexpected! There are various entrances to trails walking beside fanno creek: behind the school, a trail starting in the back of the dog park, and turning into the Jewish church. Highly recommended for a quick (but exciting) stroll. BEWARE: Steep hills and trail shoes are needed.
Awesome. My 13 1/2 year-old Westie, Charlie's favorite place. Mine too. Charlie left this world on Wednesday June, 24th. He spent almost everyday of the last 5 months playing in Hillsdale Park with his friends. Many of his 13 years were spent in the park as well. This park is special and magic and a wonderland thanks to the very hard work of Tim and his friends. It made Charlie happy every day he was here. Thank you Tim for all the work you do every single day.
The best dogpark in SW Portland, this place has open grass and trails back in the woods. No fences, which really helps the dogs not feel confined. The best.
My pup truly enjoyed his final outing because of the size and tranquility of this park. Of his last few days, this one he enjoyed to the fullest ❤ This is by far the best place to bring your well trained (un-fenced) or senior dogs to enjoy themselves.
Best dog park around! Great unfenced park area and adorable walking path near a creek! Also has water bowls and doggy bags in case you forget them after running out the door!
What a fabulous gem of a dog park! Local community run place with plenty of room for off leash doggy romping. There's even a little stream and wild wooded area (my pup's favorite).
Nice park and lovingly tended by local volunteers. It shows! Great place to hang out and let dogs run. A little bit of hills makes both humans and dogs work, should you choose.

Truly lovely spot, the redwoods look like they touch the sky. The observation deck has some seating to just sit and enjoy the forest. The trail is a nice walk.
Spent less than $2 on parking and $22 on a admission and walked through for an hour. This was my second time visiting the Portland Japanese Garden, but first time during the middle of Fall season. The Falls colors are breathtakingly gorgeous and this
We came here a few times while staying in Portland with our daughter. She loved the playground selection and seeing the dogs running around. Overall just a great vibe at this park with a lot of use, and it felt very safe the few times we visited.
There's picnic area. The hiking is super short yet super competitive. There's no local restroom and the parking lot level is not so great but it's not bad enough to scrape a small car bottom.
Surprisingly good views from this park! Could see in numerous directions; especially West, North and East. I was there around 3pm in December and the light was really nice; the valley views popped. Clear sky's and the mountains were snow covered. I
Nice big park with large off leash area for dogs. Nice playground for kids. Lots of dogs off leash outside of the appropriate area so just be aware if your dog is reactive.
This park is a favorite with our 5 and 6 year old grandkids. It is located off the street, with a walk over a bridge and a small creek. The playground is unique and with play structures up to about age 9 or 10. It is always clean, including the porta

Tanner Springs is an absolute gold standard for an urban park. It is one of Portland Park and Recs best creations and I think it's one of the best places you could stop at for a peaceful afternoon.
I absolutely loved this spot!! We stumbled upon it after picking up some food from the Cart Blocks trucks. We were welcomed in with our food and purchased a glass of wine to enjoy with our food on the top deck. The atmosphere is so lovely! The serve
I love this spot. They have one of the best cappuccinos in Portland. The staff is always kind, and friendly. And the tunes are always on point. Pro tip: ask for sugar crunchies on your capp. You wonât regret it!
Best gym ever!!! I have been attending classes at PDX strength for years, they are challenging but scalable, and the environment is supportive, noncompetitive, and fun. I have recently started personal training sessions with Jocelyn and have made a
Awesome facility and located 5 minutes away. It was easy to find, although I wish it had a Risio sign outside. Their website was nice to navigate through and book a drop in session. Margaret the owner communicates and follows through and she looks li
The cart weâve needed! Rich flavors with the creamiest mac n cheese and mashed potatoes (my fave). Donât sleep on the desserts either. Somehow tastes even better as leftovers!
