We got married at the Hill's Resort on September 9th and it was nothing short of a fairytale. It was more than I could have ever imagined, and that was due in no small part to the amazing staff we worked with, particularly Whitney, Bartender Stephen, and the amazing chef. Everything went seamlessly and everyone on staff went out of their way to accommodate us and were incredibly hospitable. Many of my family members enjoyed the staff so much they were taking photos with the staff to remember their time with them. The food was top tier, everyone who attended my wedding said it was the best wedding food they have ever had in their lives. I do not have a single bad thing to say about our experience at the Hill's Resort. I would recommend going there to everyone I know for vacation, or to host your dream wedding. Thanks for all your help Hill's resort!

We have been coming as an extended family for over 30 years. Started with about 8 people and have grown to include more than 35. Heartwarming to see the younger children discover the magic of being on the lake and sharing it with cousins. ||The cabins/units are comfortable and well-equipped. The beds are so comfortable. We usually do all our own cooking, but it is so helpful to have the Resort restaurant and Bar and store close by.||There are not many places in the US where you can have a rustic cabin a few yards from a pristine and protected northern lake. We are so grateful to the Hill Family for stewarding this very unique “camp” from the past into the future. May we be blessed with many more summers there.

Dinner reservations 9/4/23 @5:30 pm. Server was nice but service was marginal. After we ordered took an hour to get our food. Only 5 tables seated. Waitress had tunnel vision. Food was okay but not like in the past. Have been coming here for 30 plus years. Went to the bar afterwards to look at the bar menu for future reference. Stood at the bar for over 5 minutes before anyone even recognized use. The servers seemed to think we didn't even exist. Finally had to flag down someone to ask to see the bar menu. They were not busy. Had a dinner reservation again on 9/06/23. Server was good but 2 of us ordered the halibut. It was $38.00 a slice about 1 inch wide. Was over cooked and dry. You would think that if they are advertising fine dining that they would know halibut dries out real quick if over cooked. I had clams as an appetizers. In the past their clams have been good. Manila clams. Now Venus clams from Mexico. Yuk. I also noticed that they no longer have oysters in the bar. Shooters or elsewise. My opinion is they have gone downhill with quality and uphill with price. Will be coming back next year , but if no improvements we will be going elsewhere. Sad.

The restaurant for dinner is horrible, the food was overcooked, the service was awful, I had to send my food back because they tried to serve me halibut jerky. They tried to replace it with a piece half the size, never told me and gave it to me after everyone else at my table had finished eating. My wife's food was cold, she tried to get their attention but no one cared. We came hungry, we left hungry. The rooms are ok, not the best, they don't clean the property very well, there was mouse poop all over our balcony. The beds are soft and the bed quilt smells like they haven't washed it in a long time. Would I stay/come here again...no, no I would not.

Stayed here after our Santa visit to some guests. I have lived in north idaho since 1985. This is my first overnight stay here. Plan on returning more often and enjoying trails and the lake.

Everything was fine, except the food. That's a big exception when the only option other than cooking in your room, is to drive 20 +/- miles to another restaurant. I ordered the full slab of baby back spare ribs, thinking I'd take half back to the room for next day's lunch. After taking the first bite, I regretted my decision. The ribs had been baked and then smothered with a BBQ sauce that had to be right out of a cheap bottle. That the ribs but they weren't brined, salted; no seasoning at all prior to, or even after, cooking is something not even a 'worst cook in America' would do. I ate 2 of the 8 ribs out of hunger, but of course didn't want a 'to go' container. I was just disgusted. My wife ordered the roast chicken. She thought it was pretty much tasteless and left most of it untouched; $90. for food we could barely eat. No, we won't be returning.

This place is straight out of a movie. It’s beautiful and old fashioned Marina and lodge. Launch boats here for a small fee. Public and private beach. Lodge has restaurants and gift shop. There are slips in the Marina that you can rent for some time. Sand volleyball. This place is awesome.

Good food, but when we ordered they forgot mine. Due to the busy summer rush I decided to cancel my order because it would have been another long wait for food after everyone else was wrapping up. Also, no baby changing station in the women's bathroom. So have fun changing your baby on the gross floor. Kind of disappointed in this aspect of the place the most. Overall outdoor ambiance is a 5/5 stars... The lake is beautiful and the volleyball court were fun after dinner diversions.
