Hill-Brook Motel - Motel in Bedford - 250 State Rte 101, USA

In a sea of overpriced motels, this is an island of sanity. I recently took a trip in NH and Maine on a weekend ; this place was the only reasonably priced option with decent reviews. I was not disappointed. Nothing fancy, but a very clean, comfortable room. Lots of cable TV channels - no HBO or SHO, but some unexpected sports options. It's on a road that gets a little busy during commuting hours, but noise is not a problem in the rooms. Highly recommended.

This place has ash trays outside the rooms to smoke cigarettes but will kick you out and charge you fees for it. Just be on your toes when you go to this place to stay. The owner will always watch everything you do and try to get as much money from you as he can because it is so cheap to stay. Just my thoughts on it. I recommend a more expensive place you’ll have a better stay somewhere else and your privacy.

Charge $40 for a towel, sheet and pillow case they said was damaged, and provided no proof of anything

Made a reservation to stay one night from New York to take a family member out for 82nd birthday. Within 12 hours of my departure I got very sick. I could not make trip. I called the hotel during the night and left a message I could not use the room. NEVER got a call back. I guess the owner doesn’t care about his customers. All other reviews say the same thing.

The room is very clean, beyond my expectation. It seems to be a family-own motel, the owner couple is very friendly!! My wife accidentally locked us out of our car by leaving the key inside the car. We reached out to the owner for help and the owner soon called AAA lock-smith technician in using his own AAA membership. In less than an half hour the technician showed up and solved our issue. I can feel that the owner is someone who is managing his own business, not like people we see in some hotels where people just work there. I highly recommend this motel. Thank you Hill-Brook motel !

Unfortunately my phone battery died before arrival. I had reserved a room hours before. The guy at desk would not accept anything from me after explaining my issue. He wanted a $100 deposit to let my phone charge five minutes. I tried to reason with him to no avail and he called police saying I tried to steal electricity and he wanted to prosecute Wow!. I stayed here years ago prob 15+. It was much different then.

Nasty "Family" owned? Broken foot, called a liar. Went to hospital emergency room instead had toe amputated.

Room was clean...Service and Location was excellent.....The bed however was like I was sleeping on a piece of plywood....so hard ...
