Hill 582 - Park in Phelan - Unnamed Road, USA

An awesome and lovely place for train spotter! Three train tracks go around this small hill. This place is so clean and has some chairs to sit. The road uphill was too rugged, most vehicles could not go up, but offroad vehicles can easily go up the hill.

Awesome place for a train lover There are three train tracks around this small hill. One track bends 90 degrees creating an awesome place to view trains. My car could go only half way to the hill. I had to walk 0.5 miles to get to the hill since road was too rugged. Off road vehicles can easily go to the hill. 0.5 mile walk is pleasant and wont take more than 5 mins.

I've buried a couple pets here. Very beautiful and peaceful place. If you visit sign the visitors book and please don't mess it up. Leave it nicer than you found it. If there's trash pick it up and throw it away so we can all continue to enjoy this place.

What an awesome oasis to stumble upon . Lots of wark and time have gone into this place it is well worth your time enjoy .

Been coming here for many years, it's always been peaceful and serene. I'm surprised it's on Google maps now. I'm torn between that, the less crowds the better. That being said, keep it clean and free from vandalism, don't bring knuckleheads that would ruin a good thing.

Great place for some shade and watch the trains pass by.

The drive here is awesome. The harder way is nothing crazy, but still a lot of fun compares to the back way. The history to this place is cool to read about once you're up here. Trains pass by close to this hill.
