Place is old and it shows. The sheets were clean though and shower felt great which is all you really need in a room. Be warned there aren't deadbolts though if you care about that.

I tried to sleep but kept on waking up to moaning. When I investigated the noise I walked in on a cult meeting. Ended up getting my tendinitis removed, but got hot coco after from them. Would recommend the experience.

Wasn't really paying attention to the room. Sorry but the service was great..I mean right on top of the things I needed for the stay. My reservations are always dealt with quickly and there's never a time I couldn't get a room at the tearass.its still yet another place I haven't taken my girl to

We were looking for somewhere cheap to stay near Kennywood, and this place looked okay. The owner showed me one room, but then decided we'd have more privacy in another. Apparently he rents by the hour. At least he was up front about that. The rate for a night was $45, plus a $5 key deposit which we got back. The motel has some very old wood cabins that looked derelict, some newer brick cabins, a small '50s wing of maybe 8 rooms, and three carport rooms which are maybe from the '60s. We looked at two of the '50s rooms before he decided to give me a carport. They were big, with wood paneled walls, and a full bath. They looked perfectly okay, but were really smoky. There are no non-smoking rooms at this place.|| We ended up in a carport room. It was small, and looked clean. Unfortunately, there was a lot of hair on the sheets. I was able to brush it off before my wife saw it. I'm praying that it just didn't come out in the dryer. I also hid the ashtray with gum in it behind one of the lamps. The carpet was a bit old, but mostly clean. You could see that they didn't move things to vacuum. The bathroom was tiny, and had an old fiberglass shower stall. It at least was very clean. The room didn't smell too smoky, especially after we left the a/c on while we were at the park. The bed was decently comfortable, and it was quiet at night. It looked like he didn't get any hourly clients, there were only two other cars there when we got back. The carport was very nice the next morning, because it was raining.|| All in all, it wasn't terrible, but I'd just as soon try one of the other nearby motels next time.

This place was so unpleasant that we strongly considered eating the cost of the room and going somewhere else for the night, and this is coming from someone who is very familiar with cheap hotels. The door had one flimsy lock on the knob similar to what you might have on your bathroom door at home, no dead bolt or anything, which made me feel very unsafe. The entire room was dirty, reeked of smoke and looked NOTHING like the pictures! Definitely false advertising.

For the price and the amazing view when you walk out the door, couldn't really ask for more. The fella in the office answered some of my questions of the area and even had no issue with me parking my bobtail in front of my room. Sure the place is a little older in appearance, both inside and outside, but for the price you shouldn't expect a "Hampton inn and suites" appearance. However my only requests of the place is maybe a deadbolt for the room door and that the "ditch" like pothole between the parking lot and the road gets fixed. Other than that, quite well liked my stay.

If your looking for a place to go for a quick rendevous this could work. So me and my boyfriend thought we would get a cheap hotel for the night because we have been driving all day. We got there and it was nasty! Open codom wraper on the floor in the bathroom, the towls were wet and had pube hairs on them, the floor looks like it has never been cleaned, writing all on the walls, there were only sheets on the bed and no blankets, the table had crumbs all over it. We went and asked if we could get a refund because we were NOT staying there and he wouldnt let us. So if I was someone looking into this DONT DO IT!
