Hightide Motel - Motel in North Myrtle Beach - 510 S Ocean Blvd, USA

Don't stay here as this place is a bit of a joke. The renovated version of this motel is now called the R&R Palm Court: It's in a nice area close to the beach but thi Wi-Fi is terrible and the bathroom is not large enough to fit 2 people. No towel racks. Would not stay here again.

Good location. The staff/host was nice. The beds were hella uncomfortable. The sheets were not soft and they had some stains. But smelled clean so I didn’t bother. Also a lot of dust and the room and bathroom wasn’t 100% clean, but clean enough. But hey, what do you expect in a motel. My friends and I will save for a better place next trip.

Horrible experience. Went to dinner and came back and our door was wide open. Two young girls staying here and we were very uncomfortable. Very sure that we found a camera in the AC controller. Don’t stay here. Good location but not worth it. We will not be going back, and definitely do not stay here if you are alone.

Honestly for a couple of young guys looking for a cheap place to stay while on vacation, this wasn’t a bad place at all. Although the rooms could have used some major updating the beds were comfy, air conditioning worked, and the shower water was hot. The maid was very friendly and did a pretty good job keeping the place cleaned up. Only complaint is it definitely needs to be updated, but can’t beat the price for being right across the street from the beach.

Manager & fiance are a wonderful couple.Our stay was great.Meet some very nice people. The maintenance man is very helpful as well. If it's Gods Will we shall return 2022 to stay in their apts. which are nice. Overall everything was great. Loved the distance to the beach. All positive vibes.

My family and I stayed here-- there were 6 of us. The owner was nice in that he gave us a bigger room. I'd have to say that this place was quiet and family-friendly, being across the street from the beach. It was nice in that although we shared the entire building with other guests, it felt like we were in our own home. One of the things that I did not like much about was our parking. We had a separate, private parking (which was super nice), but it was right where the busy street was so backing out was a bit difficult. We reversed-parked majority of the time, but that meant stopping/waiting on traffic to go around us first. The other thing was this place does not have a pool. It does have in ice machine that was free to use by guests though. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here a lot and would come back.

Great bang for your buck! Old but clean. No bugs. Beautiful tongue and groove walls and ceilings! Furniture could use a good cleaning...we covered the couch and chair with sheets. The two bedroom unit was very spacious. Nice kitchen and again...very clean! The manager, Mike, was friendly & helpful. Pretty quiet neighbors as well! Would definitely return next trip on a budget!

The price was reasonable! The staff was very friendly. Walking distance to the beach! & to top it off our microwave didn't work but kevin in management made sure we was taken care of! He instantly went out personally to get a microwave for our room.....BRAND NEW!! Thank you so much for our amazing stay!!
