I can’t say enough positive things about this hotel. Ms. Theresa was soo kind to us. We had been on the lake all day long, were not in a position to drive home (2 hours away). I called her at 11:00 (PM). She made sure we had a room, checked us in and made sure everything was perfect for us. I am so appreciative of her and her excellent customer service. Thanks to her for being great.

The only "good" thing this hotel has to offer is the full size fridge. If you are any race other than white or have children don't bother with this hotel. Teresa the on site manager is the most rude nosy woman I have ever met. She didn't even want my two small children at the hotel. She treated my family so bad. We came for work purposes and had extended stay but she did not want us there so we moved to another hotel in Denison. Terrible experience! The one star is for the fridge otherwise I would rate it negative stars.

We stayed for 3 nites and it was great. We came on a Thursday and went home Sunday. First of all, it is as close to the lake as advertised, with plenty of space for our boat. We were on the water during the day, and could unhook and leave the boat for fun at night. The rooms were older, but ours had been updated recently, with new carpet and paint. Room was very clean, including the bath room. Shower was a little short, but hey, the room was only $77.00 and there was no hassle about check in or check out. The small town feel was great, and there were two places to eat within a mile. The bar across the street was fun, and we could walk to it from our room.

The room was gigantic! It had a couch and full-sized refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker with enough coffee for two rounds! It was as clean as I imagine a lakeside motel could be. The woman who checked us in was great and recommended a fantastic restaurant for the catfish my boyfriend decided he had to have. Also, for a Saturday the rate was completely reasonable.

I have been staying here for the last 10 years, It has always been reasonable.||But sent Teresa and Charlie took it over they really Cater to your needs .Older But Very Clean....||Fisherman friendly . We fished a tournament Oct 10th thru 14th. Cold and pouring down rain .. Teresa and Charlie spent 4hrs in the evening drying the fishermen's clothes. They went above and be on. close to High Point marina and boat launch. Flat screen TV ,full size refrigerator, microwave...Boat parking

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE CROOKS. 😡😡 Very true that I had to cancel the day of the stay. How could I have known 3 days in advance that bad weather was predicted and that my event would be postponed to a later date when I would have stayed with you again. Every situation has its own set of circumstances and you being a business owner should be flexible in your policies.

I did not make it past the office manager. We live in 2018. I read reviews. When I see one stating there is a report of bed bugs, understandably I have questions. I ask to see the pest inspection certificate she claimed to have and to visually inspect before I book and her response is " I am not begging to rent a room." No, you aren't. However. My requests were not unreasonable. I am contacting the property owner because the office manager should not have a job with the lack of customer service skills she has. I gave this business the benefit of the doubt with their bed bug claim. You lost my business due to your employees attitude. If you book here expect to catch shade from management. Oh and I drove out here twice. Don't expect to see anyone prior to 2 pm

I love the quiet atmosphere this place has. Country style living. Affordable cute rooms. Whenever in the area for a boating or fishing get together we stay here. Love the at home feel. The family that looks after the place is delightful and helpful too.
