HighPoint Community Apartments - Apartment complex in Romeoville - 160 S Highpoint Dr, USA

It wasn’t a bad place to live; however, they robbed us upon leaving. We received a ‘bill’ for repairs and cleaning-first one on 1/29/2024. They had already sent it to collections on 1/30/2024. Even though I just paid the bill to keep it out of collections - the collection person was rude and condescending. Stay clear unless you want a place to rent that charges upon charges and then really goes after you.

I have very unpleasant experience with leasing office. One of the staff attitude was totally arrogant and rude. And she is the sweetest person when the deal is to be seal. And now when we inquire to moving out. She is the most arrogant person in the office. I am so upset about it. I lived in Highpoint 2 years with my finance. Maintenance service is at top and most Maintenance staff are so friendly and top at their work. But the leasing office sometime treat us so bad and being racism sometime. My finance was a friendly person and he likes to joke around. But the way of treating I get sometime from leasing office staff is totally a unpleasant experience. We are tenants and we are the customers. At least they could greet us with Smile Rather than ignore the greeting from us walk straight through our face. Sharing the information 100 times even to customers if the customer asked is their job. I am totally disappointed. I love the community and my neighbors. And as well of all Maintenance people. And another unpleasant experience is Mail Room service. This 2 office people are totally unpleasant and not sharing information to tenant. And they don't like asking back to them too. They act such people as stupid and their bossy attitude is such a Yack !!

It was great. Michelle and luana are so sweet and helpful and we're very patient with me and I really got the feeling that they were genuine. As long as you respect and realize how thard they work and how many people a day they have to deal with and your patient with them they'll be patient and helpful with you. For instance I wanted to see a certain unit but i really couldn't find the time to come back that way. Michelle suggested sending me a very helpful video of that type of unit that answered all my questions and she responded in the quickness. I love that about her.... and no matter how many questions I asked them. They answered all of them until I understood all the details.

The request was handled in a prompt and professional manner. I am very happy as I always am. The Highpoint Maintenance Staff is simply amazing. ☺️

Called to inquire about the apartment complex & unit & leasing agent Luana hung up on me! Called back twice with no answer & the 3rd time finally got an answer by a different agent but the leasing agents here are so useless & uninformative! Not helpful at all! Such a waste of time, def not somewhere I’d like to live.

the maintenance crew are quick to respond and do an excellent job I am very happy with them. Also the office people are a pleasure with which to deal.

The maintenance man came in, saw the issue immediately and addressed it. He was cordial and professional. He was mindful of the carpet and put on his shoe covers, came in and went out very quickly and quietly (my wife was working from home on the phone). Great work!! Thanks so much for the prompt and excellent service.

I had previously rated the community 5 stars, but I’m lowering my rating due to the mail room hours. They don’t open until 8:30 during the week and they’re now closed on Sunday’s as well. Some mail carriers like USPS won’t deliver to the front door, so it’s really an inconvenience. (Yes there are mail deliveries on a Sunday). Rent isn’t cheap, so you’d expect the mailroom to have better hours.
