Located at the base of Aspen Highlands, right in front of the main lifts, Highlands Alehouse is our favorite spot to grab food and drinks for lunch or after a day of skiing. The food is great, the pub is nice inside, and the service at the bar is excellent. You can't get any more convenient than this place if you're visiting the Highlands.
Great place to eat in Aspen. Self-serve, other than staff bringing pizza, so quick & easy. Beautiful views of mountain! Clean restrooms a bonus! Best pizza I’ve had in a long while!! Give it a try!!!
We stopped at the Higlands Alehouse on our way through Aspen. The location is at the base of a chair lift, and there were great views of the mountains. However, it was a very warm day, and we found the restaurant stuffy and uncomfortable. The bartender was very friendly, and overall service was top-notch. There were a dozen or so CO craft beers on tap. The food was good, although it was served on small, mini baking sheets and accompanied by paper plates. The homemade chips/salsa/guac was excellent ($13). The chicken panini ($22) was ok, sloppy with sauce, sun dried tomatoes, and spinach. Loved that we could sub out fries for our choice of salad ($2). Biggest gripe was that parking was $14 for just over an hour. There was also a "Staff Cost of Living" charge added to our bill. It's a 3% charge, and I'm OK with this, but just wanted to mention this so you're not surprised. Before tip, our bill was $58 for the chips, sandwich and two beers. About what I'd expect at a resort. I'm sure this place would be a must stop if It were ski season, right in the heart of the action. Enjoy!
Delicious food and excellent service. We loved the truffle fries, Baja bowl w/ the tofu, burgers and beer. Great atmosphere aside from the men using the loud drill repeatedly on the outdoor deck.
Hung here mostly during ski season. Was a great vibe then. The summer did not disappoint either. Sundays, in the summer, they also have a live band at 4pm. Great vibe. Music, food, drinks, dogs, kids and people from everywhere! Great time, great food! Mozzarella Sticks app. Highlands Philly, amazing fresh ribeye, and fried Oreos and ice cream for dessert! Desert picture enclosed. Cheers!
Best local spot in all of aspen. Super laid back with incredible food that’s locally sourced with the most incredible back drop, Highlands mountain. The chefs are truly talented and are creatively coming up with new specials almost every day that continue to wow me. They usually have live music on Sundays with outdoor games set up, lots of families come and it’s a beautiful way to spend a Sunday afternoon or really any afternoon. if you want a local spot with genuinely delicious food, decent prices, super nice employees and an amazing outdoor eating experience, this is a MUST!
The lunch is delicious! A nice atmosphere. You can sit outside and a nice day. Right next to the slopes. Located at the Maroon Bells shuttle service. We visited the Bells then had lunch. The burger and shrimp quesadilla were great!
Vegan and vegetarian options are AMAZING - and that's hard to find in the valley honestly. Great beer draft list too. Definitely gets slammed at lunchtime but our food came out super quickly when we stopped in for a late (2pm) lunch even though it was still pretty full.

It is truly a breathtaking experience in Aspen at 11200 ft with stunning views surrounded by beautiful mountains. I really enjoyed the ride and gondolas were comfortable.
What a beautiful park to visit. There's running river water, beautifully placed stones and rocks giving this park a Zen-like setting. I had the opportunity to visit on a Wednesday morning where the traffic was low and I was truly able to take in natu

Went driving to see the fall colors here in Colorado. Arrived in Aspen in late afternoon and was a fish out of water. Looking for something to eat that would not cost the same as a tank of gas for my jeep. Found this 6 it was truly a hole in the wall
When you think "COLORADO", this is it.Aspen is beautiful and this hotel is in a perfect location. It has the charm of a cottage, and you are extremely in the center of it all. Very clean, nice size rooms. Friendly staff.
Recently took a trip to Aspen and while we were there drove out to Ashcroft. Very pleased to see how well the ghost town has been taken care of. Definitely recommend it if youâre looking for something new to do.
