Yes. Maybe it was closed for a private event. No sign on the door though. Saw several families enter and the hanger was open with folks around the C47.
We went there for the Bluebonnet Airshow. We go nearly every year and each year it gets better. While you are there go and check out the museum as well as having some wonderful artifacts the people who run it are very knowledgeable.
So glad this place has a squadron for future pilots! We attended a meeting here a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it!
Good collection of World War Two memorabilia. Including uniforms and radios and weapons. Lots of pictures and stories to learn from. The curators are very friendly and knowledgeable too. There is a display to learn about WASPs too. Too many items to list and something for everyone. On a slow day, they will let you into the hanger where you'll be up close to the fighter planes and engines that powered them.
