Highland Inn - Motel in Denham Springs - 2605 S Range Ave, USA

Positive: I loved that the room was clean, the location is good and it?s also quiet. Negative: The only thing that I do not like is the checkout process!! The constant knocks on the door as if someone isn?t going to leave it?s really irritating.

We were not provided enough towels, the sink drained very slow, backing up water in the bowl. Very dingy towels. The room had an unpleasant smell. The bathroom door had a large burst in area. There is no coffee maker with supplies. The AC had not been turned on & could not cool the room below 73 before going to sleep. The bathroom exhaust made a sound, yet the bathroom was very very hot. I left a nice blouse by mistake, yet nothing was found in the room. The price was low, but I recommend spending more to avoid a similar experience.

The rooms were very clean it is a nice quiet place the owners are very friendly attentive to their guests. I honestly give this place a 5 star. It has a good location plenty of places to eat that is not very far nor expensive. Easy in and out prices are very reasonable great motel.

Sarah is outstanding at this job. Thank you for your hospitality and help with everything on my weekly rate. And the consideration for my dog 🐕. Great and quiet, and safe place to stay.

This motel is the best option when traveling with pets. The rooms are decent and most have been updated, theres plenty of shopping and restraunts in walking distance and it is in close range of two gas stations for convenience. The property is clean,quiet and family friendly. the family that runs it are so sweet. Best of all it feels safe and theres no creeps hanging around at strange hours. I def will be back

The beds were hard as hell. Went for the pool bit there was NO WATER in the dang pool!! Online didn't mention pool unavailable.

Positive: The location near I-12 was perfect for what I was in town for. Negative: Thin walls, I could hear next door on phone. A loud constant water drip in the shower. The shower had old hair in it when I checked in. The bed mattress was old, I could hear and feel the springs in it. I had to check out days early and find a new place. Negative: ""

The good... there are plenty of restaurants to get food from near this hotel, the air conditioner worked well, and Bass Pro Shops is just behind it. The bad...the room was filthy, and the bed wasn't very comfortable at all. I refused to walk on the floor barefooted. The linens didn't look clean, but we were lucky to have some comforters we were using to cover furniture we were moving and decided to use them to sleep under instead of the sheets. The door had a massive gap at the bottom that many small critters could fit through, and several of the guests apparently had been living at the hotel for quite a while. If you are thinking of staying at this property, you might want to consider a different property if it's only for a single night.
