First time having Haitian food. Did not disappoint. Very flavorful and filling. I got Tass beef, Diri ak Djon Djon rice ( black rice and peas, plantains and Boulet (Meatballs).
I know how tasty Haitian food is, but please if you can avoid that place do it. 2 times I been there, I had a bad experience with them. They STEAL people’s money. I ordered 3 foods and one pack of beer, they gave me 2 foods with the beer. When I called back, they said “oo sorry you can come get the missing plate”. Once I got there, they refused to give me the food. Finally they stole $30 from me. (SCAM(. And last time I went there the food had a hair on it.!! Don’t go there please. Red flag
Haitian food restaurant. When we went there they were working as a take out only restaurant. That’s why all the chairs on the tables (don’t know if it was because of the holidays), and that’s why the food in boxes. But they let us sit down inside. Food is delicious! Prices are a bit high, $30 for the main entrées, specially as a take out place.
This is a restaurant that serves Haitian food . Had my buddy order from here and the food was very tasty. Located on highland Avenue, somerville. As at the time am writing this review theres no indoor dining only takeout . The staff were friendly but you will actually need an interpreter if you're not fluent in creole . I love the ambience of the restaurant especially the aquarium which you see as you enter the restaurant. Food took roughly half an hour to get ready. Apart from that its worth the wait.
Home cooked style Carribean cuisine place with generous portions and quick service. Ordered their fried pork for takeout and it was ready within 15 minutes. In terms of food, pork was very dry and some pieces were very difficult to chew. Nonetheless, the sauce they provided on the side definitely helped me go through the plate. If you don't like dry meat in general, I wouldn't recommend getting the fried meat dishes from here, but other sides (rice and beans, slaw, salad etc) do go along well with the meat.
As a haitian myself, i really don’t think we were meant to to do business. And that affirmation keeps renewing itself every time I go to a haitian business or ordering from one. The food taste is mid, I ordered rice and bean and they sent me Rice and black bean sauce. How you change something in a customer’s order without calling them asking if you can substitute?? I’ve never been a sòs pwa nwa fan and white rice is the easiest thing to cook, i could’ve made that myself if I needed to, that’s why I ordered rice and bean. Thank you for this bad experience, next time i’ll stick to dlo sikre ak pen or a chinese restaurant.
We were 4 (including a toddler). I entered the restaurant at 3:33 pm and now it is 3:35. We left RIGHT AWAY. The restaurant stinks! Ain't no way I'm gonna order food in a nasty place. Zero bare! Respekte figu kliyan nou yo. Nou pa ka ap sèvi moun yon kote santi konsa.
I been coming here since I was young, great people & food and environment and now an amazing renovation!!! I’m so happy to stop by today and see it, I love you guys!!! Come by and check it out for yourself!!! Thank you Jean for my food & smoothies😊 👍🏼

Amazing! I went here with my friend to pick up an assortment of baked goods. The space is small but we got there early Saturday morning and the line wasn't bad at all (and it moved pretty fast). The atmosphere was nice and warm, it smelled SO good in
Checked out Yego Coffee because I was in the area and have been enjoying cafe-hopping lately. There is plenty of street parking, and the inside is bright with high ceilings and a few tables. There were a few people on a Friday morning. Service was fr
Finding CycleBar is one of my highlights of 2023! I joined a little under one year ago and am approaching 100 classes now. All of the staff members are super welcoming and really make an effort to get to know both frequent and newer riders. They prov
Really recommend this place, all the take away was really good! The carne asada dinner was awesome, the Birria tacos had a generous service and great flavor. The tortillas on the tacos was different than what I have had at other places but was great
