Great location, but a little difficult getting in and out of parking lot though. It’s located near a wonderful coffee shop, it’s right across the street from NAU and downtown not that far away. Rooms are neat and clean, and folks super friendly. Beds are comfy and I like tiled floors in lieu of carpet.
These are super clean rooms with all the basic amenities (microwave, fridge, coffee pods, hair dryer, tv, AC/heater). Not fancy, but everything is in good shape and (to repeat) clean. The free wifi works great. It's in a nice location not too far from Lowell Observatory, Buffalo Park, and downtown Flagstaff. The manager is a nice guy. We stayed here on the way out to Mesa Verde and are staying here on the way back. Both rooms are as described, it was not a fluke!
What a wonderful surprise I can’t recall when I’ve been this impressed with an independent hotel. Very friendly, helpful, efficient Checkin. Large room with extra toiletry amenities. Very clean, quiet. Superb value for the money. Recommend for anyone who doesn’t require fancy digs for the night
Loved starting at Highland Country Inn, such a nice motel and close to everything in Flagstaff. NAU is right across the street and plenty of eatery nearby. There’s a gray coffee shop next to motel and a grocery store too. Folks that run Highland are super friendly, rooms are “just right” and very clean and tidy. We’ll be back
Perfect place to stay for a night or two if you’re going out to see Sedona or the Grand Canyon. Staff is super friendly, rooms are very clean, and you have access to TONS of food options just a short walk/drive away. Enjoyed my stay here.
Note...this is not the same as the High Country Motor Lodge which is just up the road LOL.
We enjoyed our stay. Rooms are clean, includes coffee maker, fridge, microwave and TV. Friendly front desk service. Walkable to downtown. My only complaint is that it's very close to busy Route 66, and there were sirens going all night. But! The room has a loud fan you can run to help drown out noise. And, a bathroom fan..you don't get those anymore ;)
Very nice motel extremely convenient to NAU and the High Country Conference Center. Great coffee shop next door (on the way to the conference). Looks like it should be a noisy location, but it wasn't an issue.
Nothing fancy but nice little motel. Stayed for 1 night to catch the train in the morning. Comfortable bed, clean room, loud AC but no biggish. We used it as our wake up call to catch our train early morning. We picked this motel, as it was just 10 min walk away to train station.
This hotel is so fun! Kids loved the rooms with disco lights and nostalgic throwback decor! Fire pit under the stars or throw some bags! Though a bit chilly the kids loved the 80 degree pool and managed even with it only being 39 degrees out. Pet fr

Maybe the best chain hotel in town. Walk a couple of blocks to plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. Beautiful, clean, spacious and light rooms. Nice breakfast, with friendly staff there and at check in. Upgraded to a corner suite.
I was pleasantly surprised! The lobby was lodge-y themed with a large wood-burning fireplace. Front desk was very helpful. The room was spacious (2 queens and pullout couch) and included a coffee bar area with Keurig, fridge, microwave, and safe tuck
I won a bet with my buddy about who had the best burrito in town. I made him eat an El Mayor from Tres Amigos. He looked me dead in the eyes and said: "you win".
Gracie Barra Flagstaff has been such a great place to watch our son learn fundamentals of life, safety and become more confident as a 6 year old. We've only been here since January 2023 and we have enjoyed every part of being involved in this academy
