Highbridge Hotel - Hotel in Bronx - 1263 Edward L Grant Hwy, USA

After reading all the not-so-good reviews, ( but as all other hotels were in the range of 300-500 USD per day,) we chose this hotel in Bronx, near Yankee stadium at 220 USD incl breakfast, toilet, AC etc. breakfast was good. Area was safe even at 8.30 in evening. Subway trains are very near...200 meters. Connectivity to most parts of NYC is very good. Unlike most hotels now in US and Europe, cleaning was every day. Toilet, AC were good and overall we had a good 5 days stay. Safety was not concern as we were going to Manhattan every day and coming back by 8-8.30 safely.

We recently stayed at the Highbridge hotel. I can’t see enough about how wonderful the staff is! The family feel at breakfast , to their accommodating. The manager even remembered my son’s name, and we always felt very welcomed. Were very clean and kept that way. We stayed over Thanksgiving, although some of our points of interest were a little bit out-of-the-way we look forward to coming back to the hotel and enjoying, the comfort of it. I would highly recommend staying here, and the breakfast buffet was wonderful!

GREAT DEAL - Price was almost to good to be true. Booked here for just one night. My friend ended up joining me last minute. The hotel staff were polite and accommodating. They changed my reservation from a one bed room to a two bed room without hesitation. I was actually impressed with the free breakfast and we did utilize the hotel parking it was $20 for 24 hours. The hotel parking is very secure! This was very nice feature for a fair price. Everything seemed clean. Though we did not spend much time there the neighborhood seemed fine. We went out at night, and it was fine. Obviously be caution always, in any neighborhood and you should be OK. Great food options in the neighborhood. One thing that may be a problem for some people the hotel is close to the street and you can hear pretty much everything going on outside. But I didn’t hear a thing once I fell asleep. I would definitely stay again.

Great - but with mixed feelings. I stayed at Highbridge Hotel for a few days. Overall, a very satisfying stay. The front desk and housekeeping staff are very friendly. The room and hotel facilities were exceptionally clean. Unfortunately, there are two little things that could be improved. The first thing is the parking, which is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. The hotel will assign you a spot that is yours during your stay, which is perfectly fine, but it would be great if you could book a spot in advance to make the arrival a bit more comfortable. The second thing is the hotel room door. There is really bad sound insulation, so I heard absolutely everything that happened in front of my door. Also, there was no deadlock installed, which made me feel a bit insecure. However, I strongly recommend Highbridge Hotel, and if I ever visit the area again, I'll be a proud customer.

We stayed at Highbridge for the first time November 8 to 10. My husband had a medical procedure at a hospital in Manhattan scheduled and the hotels around the hospital were so much money, I decided search nearby. Highbridge was about 3.5 miles away and one third of the price. I admit, I was a little apprehensive but after reading all of the reviews I decided to book here. I don't think that I could have made a better decision! The hotel and the room was spotlessly clean. I love that the room had no carpeting, just hard floors (hotel carpeting is almost always disgusting) All of the staff were great! We dealt mostly with Maria at the front desk and she was the best! We didn't venture out, because we were not there for a vacation, but we never felt unsafe in this hotel. Hopefully we won't be back for medical reasons, but maybe we'll get tickets for a Yankee game next year and will definitely stay here! Would recommend 100%

This is by far a great place to stay. It's a hidden gem in the Bronx. It's very hard to find a decent place to stay so glad we did. First the hotel is exactly as pictured. Clean. Quiet. The room is beautiful and the bed is comfy. Great location with on site parking. The staff was awesome 👌. The next time I visit new york I will be staying here again.

We stayed at the Highbridge hotel from January 8th-13th. It was a wonderful stay. Cost of rooms was reasonable. We had two rooms and they put us side by side which was nice to keep our family together. The entire staff is super friendly and professional. The hotel was so clean and nice. Actually surprised with how the surrounding area looked that it was this nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of storage space. We were taken care of from even before check in, staff helped us store our bags since we had arrived earlier than check in time. The cleaning staff kept our rooms perfect. The hot breakfast was really good and staff kept the breakfast items rotated and fresh throughout the entire breakfast time. Location was convenient easy walk to the 4 and 5 train and one stop from many connecting trains. We walked the area and were excited to find a skatepark and a nice playground a few blocks away. A few food options within walking distance and more using door dash which we used one of our nights. Overall would definitely stay here again if in the area.

If you want to get a good nights sleep. This is not the hotel. Stayed for 3 nights. First night was great. Second night I had a knocking noise from the pipes in my wall. Did not make an issue of it. But I also didn’t sleep. Asked hotel staff to check it out during the day while we were gone. They never did and it was So bad our last night there I had to go speak with staff. They were rude. And basically blamed me and told me I was making it all up. I asked to be relocated and they refused. They offered me ear plugs and that was it. The only resolution was submitting a complaint through booking. Which I did and booking threatened to terminate their contract with the hotel. It was not until that happened that I was refunded for one night through booking. Manager is rude.
