We spent two days here and it was very quiet and peaceful. The pool is newly completed and a gorgeous way to spend the day. We enjoyed walking around the park and stopped in at the club house/bathhouse. The clubhouse has a large room, which is nice for a get-together, and the lending library has a vast collection of books. The bathhouse was always clean and bright with plenty of hot water. The marina area is nice to sit and watch the water, boats, and wildlife.

Worst campground in Debary Fl. I planned a 2 month trip and was shocked when I found out that my spot was $100.00 more than I was quoted. Their website still advertises the lower rate. Think there is some false advertising! I paid the larger fee and began my stay. I asked about guests in the pool and they told me that every guest pays $10.00 per day. Ok, it's a nice pool, but then they stated, " no children not potty-trained could enter the pool." Ok, are they for real? The average age resident in this park is over 60. Are they completely certain that the geriatrics are not, to put it kindly, incontinent? At least my grandson would have had a diaper. But I'm sure they have had to clean up a few AFR's so the rule was acceptable. (AFR= accidental fecal release) Not saying who it was but...||||Ok so, my husband and I were constantly harassed from the office and security. This started when one week into my trip. The sun and heat had become unbearable. I asked the office staff if I could move, seeing that the park was half empty. They told me I would have to wait until the following month. I didn't quite understand because they said it had to do with the electric bill and would be too difficult to change over. How hard is it for any simpleton to read the meter at one site and then at the other site and add them together you ask? Well, apparently it's too difficult for the office staff at Highbank's campground. After two weeks I told them this was unacceptable and they had to move me today. I must have struck a nerve because that's when the harassment started. We were sitting outside with some friends and at 10:02pm a crabby little security guard came over and told us we were too loud. We complied even though no-one was around our camper. My friend added that she was out drinking with them the night before at their camper. Maybe she was offended that we didn't give her a drink? The ladies in the office regularly called and harassed my husband about parking in front of our camper and even told him if he did it again, they would has his truck towed. Every site has allowance for two vehicles. I was called on a Sunday after spending the weekend with family about my speed in the park. I told her I wasn't even here and came back late Saturday night. She said that security caught me then. I told her I'd never gone faster than 10 mph and she stated, "well the limit is 5mph and I would need to slow down." The next day, I did as instructed and 3 golf carts passed me. I guess the rules apply for some and not all. After that, I noticed that even security traveled faster than 10mph. The last last straw was when the owner called and complained that we hadn't paid our July rent. I lost it when she told me that they cannot charge my card on file. What's the point of leaving a card on file if you say you can't charge it? Why they couldn't tell me this during all the other harrassing calls is beyond me. She then added a $30.00 late charge which I paid just to shut her up. We left the following morning, never to return. If you ask me, I would give this place -000000. The lazy, rude office staff enforces rules on some and the elderly, crabby security think they're "rent a cops". I guess they have their favorites.

We are full time RV couple we travel the country for my work. We made this place our home base when we are back in Florida. We love it. ❤️ the girls in the office are awesome. Restaurant on property has great choices and good food. We will always come back.

Trust me, STAY AWAY! I planned to stay here for 2 months, but that quickly changed. There was constant harrassment from the office telling me I couldn't move to a shady spot, even though there were spaces to move to in their less than half full park. They charged 100.00 more than advertised and said they sent emails, but their website still advertises 100.00 less. Regularly, they were calling myself and my husband about details like where we parked or that my speed was too fast. I literally held my break going through the park. Golf carts passed me. Other park residents were apparently allowed to park and drive as they wished. It's clear they don't like patrons staying because I was harrassed regularly. Security complained at 10:02 that we were too loud. We were literally talking and no one was around. Like i said, more than half the park is empty. They left my spot dirty every time they mowed, even though other spots were blown clean. The day before we planned to leave, the owner called and said i had to come in so they could charge my credit card. They waited till the end of the month to tell me i would have to pay a 30.00 late fee. Why did you need a credit card on file then? They did auto charge another camper. The lies and clear discrimination has led me to leave early. I will never come back. Im sure it won't affect their bottom line, however, shame on you for your treatment. Karma sucks for you. Your business is a stain on Debary Fl.

What a lovely campground. Not a lot to do for kids but a great little gem for adults and this newly retired happy camper. Linda (office) and Mary (security) were so friendly and helpful. The newly finished pool is beautiful and the restaurant and marina on site are great additions to this campground. We will be eating dinner one night (at least) at the swamp house grill which I hear is wonderful and looking forward to our small boat tour on the water by St. John’s Eco tours that is coming up. Those reviews to come! So excited for the adventures and living the dream.

Rented two of their pontoon boats for a crowd of snowbirds who luved the experience of cruising the St. John's The couple of things that could have made the event better were pretty much beyond their control - an infestation of tiny oak tree caterpillars and cloudy skies keeping the gator viewing to a minimum. But their service was great, the boats passes muster, their location is very good! We all had a terrific time! Go, Go GO! p.s. the adjoining Swamp House is a fine establishment for apres-boating libations and food! pps. we did not stay at the campground so we are not rating it.

Love this place. A couple of years ago we spent a lot of time here and this is a great place to live. We’ve been all over Florida as snowbirds, but we love this place the best Edit: we are now residents for over a year 🤩

Was the first time taking our “new to us” camper out and chose Highbanks as it was within a couple hours of home. Staff were very friendly and restroom/bathhouse was immaculate! Nice restaurant/bar on premises with views of the St. John’s River. We were in the front and the sites were somewhat tight but not too bad. Back of campground appears to be full time residents with park models or tiny homes. I would definitely stay again.
