The playground is really nice. There's also a tennis court, basketball court, paths to walk on, and public restrooms. The water fountain never works and the restrooms need to be better maintained but overall this park is great
It's a hidden gem!!!! Cons: Gets crowded a lot and needs more basketball hoops. The bathrooms aren't ever open or seem that why as I've never seen them open and I've been coming here since they first built it. The water fountains I have only seen work a few time but water has been hot. Pros: Has a covered playground which is awesome for hot days and light rainy days. Has a few trails that are beautiful to walk in the fall and spring. Trails have lots of trees so summer time it's very shaded and cool. Trails are also paved so it's stroller friendly which is a huge plus if you want to walk or jog with babies/kids that are still in the stroller. There is a tennis court that is rarely used for tennis lol kids play in there more. Lots of parking and always a space available even when it's crowded some how. A fair amount of handicap parking also. Lots of open field for football, kite flying, picnics or anything else you want to do in an open field. There is a pavilion with lots of picnic tables and grills. Also picnic tables scattered around the whole park even down the trails. Huge rocks to sit on and/or play on they are also nice decor. Lots of trash and recycling cans but not tacky. Scenery is very beautiful. Very well upkeep and friendly people who close the gates at sunset. I would recommend this park for sure.
Big field and decent playground, very big slope and trail for bike or walkers, it closes at 6
Excellent part for small kids, a big outdoor gym with tent cover on AstroTurf. Excellent restroom facilities, clean, and well maintained. Call the Howard County Parks & Recreation to reserve a gazebo. This is the second time we’re here, first for my daughter’s shower, and now her daughter’s first birthday. Also the grounds are very well kept, and a system of trails that go down to the river.
Small park with a gate that closes at 6 so you don't get much time after work. The trails are only about a half mile on the outer loop.
A little worn. The matting was torn in a few places, but overall a great park! And no one else was there so we had the place to ourselves. Plus we found this cool gazebo down the trail a bit!
Very live an busy playground that is comfortable an it's a nice size to have a birthday party or any type of gathering with family or friends.
Great place for a run, with paved paths and lots to do for kids! Basketball court, tennis court, playground, picnic tables, and restrooms.
Love coming to this park! Tons of things for all ages to enjoy. Sandpit has a great sunshade. Bathrooms are a bit of a walk away and are located in the icehouse or aquatic center, so be sure to plan ahead.
Playground has two parts - one for children ages 2-5, other for 5-12. We were there with our 16 months old son, and he had a lot of fun. Very clean place.
Absolutely my favorite dog park. The water fountains work now! They turned them off for winter. The grass gets mowed on a regular basis. They have a small and large dog section. Very responsible dog owners come by.
