Awesome staff, really nice people, and they have movies that are words there... Very big too you can get 50 items at one time that's crazy... There are several community programs to get involved into to as well...!!!
I've been going to this library since I was 10! In the hot weather it's wonderfully cool, during the cold it's comfortably warm. They have a vast selection of books for every age. My favorite is the 2nd floor! They also have gently used books, surprisingly newer and popular books/authors, for really cheap prices and they don't charge you tax! It's a very family friendly place. They have many activities throughout the week for children and adults. A few things I dislike are the bathroom hand dryers. They don't properly dry your hands and they do not have any paper towels available, at least to the public. Also some of the staff here can be mean and rude! I don't understand why the attitude is needed whenever someone asks a question. But most of them are polite and kind. They are also rude to the homeless population who frequent this place to get out of the elements, using the free wifi or even simply taking a nap on the gray pull out chairs when they've been up for Lord knows how long. I've never been bothered by any of them and I've never seen any bother anybody either. Some compassion goes a long way. Also, I know people smoke but I don't think it's appropriate to smoke outside of a public place where children and people with sensitive issues are almost always around. It's sad to see the many discarded cigarette butts littering such a beautiful place. I know it's probably out of their control because people will do what they want and I don't see a no smoking sign anywhere.
Wonderfully huge library in a bright and welcoming space. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!!

This library is anything but quiet. There's designated areas for people to talk on their phones but for some reason they'd rather talk loudly amongst the those trying to enjoy the library and study and read and have no consideration for others.
For the most part this library isn't that bad... honestly it's pretty decent.... I just wish that some of the staff weren't so judgemental/standoffish/passive-aggressive, and sometimes just straight up rude... However, the ones who aren't like that...are some of the most patient, kind, helpful, generous, and just overall the type of people that just care about others...the ones that know you by name.,that remember your birthday....that help cheer you up when you've had a bad day and remind you that things get better.... that celebrate your accomplishments.... Basically you can tell which people actually really love their job.... and which ones would probably be better elsewhere.... I honestly love the library.(not just this one I mean all of them)...I've always loved going to the library ever since I was a kid.. And honestly throughout the time period that I frequented this particular library... Well.... I felt kinda singled out (not in a good way) every now and then...even more so before I moved away.... And I mean other people would point out to me what I had already been noticing and ask about it..... Also someone should see about having staff do some form of "sensitivity" training type thing or something because the way some of them act towards the homeless community (which as long as they are not actively bothering anyone just leave them alone they just want out of the weather, or to charge they're phone, maybe use the bathroom...) But I would like to thank any and all staff, that I had the pleasure of ever meeting while visiting The High Point Public Library,....for everything... so... thank you I wouldn't probably be where I am now if it weren't for this library and its staff Thank you
Large, modern public library with a great selection of books and other check out materials. Everyone is friendly and happy to help.
We love the library. The kids activities are well planned and executed and my child always is ready to go again.

We love Carolina Elite Trampoline Academy. Our daughter who is 4 years old started with 1 class a week and weâve now signed her up for 2 classes. She is a little shy at first but that didnât stop coach Gracie and Coach Aaron from bringing her out
Dropped in twice on our trip to Greensboro. Very nice facility, clean, and great coaching. My boyfriend actually got his first rope climb because of the instruction. Thanks for welcoming us!
