High Point Arcadia Inn - Motel in High Point - 200 Ardale Dr, USA

I give arcadia inn a 5 because the location isn't that far from the gas station but it's not really close to anything either honestly. They were quick to check us in, and give us our key to our room (they actually let us check in before 3pm even though I had booked online) The room was pretty clean, and smelled nice. We did only get one pillow, and didn't have a bucket for our ice but other than that everything was fine. It was a pretty quiet night except for one incident where a bunch of police, firetrucks, and ems had to show up because something had happened (a shooting or something) other than that it was quiet for a Saturday night there wasn't really any fights or people walking past the doors being loud and obnoxious.

I understand it says no refund if you cancel…. We were on our way there (from Ohio to North Carolina) we were about an hour away but I knew we wouldn’t make it in time (traffic and freezing rain delayed us) they said we couldn’t check in and they refused to give us our money back😡😡😡. I told them we were almost there and they said got rude and said it says but this time! I will never go to them or recommend them!! Robbing people who want to give them business…… do not go here unless you are close or you can see the future and see that you won’t have any problems traveling!! The ONLY reason why I’m giving them 1 star is because it wouldn’t go through with 0 stars

I rented a room for a week and will never do it again.Price was cheap but the lady at front desk told me to go look at the room before I pay because there are no refunds..1st room dirty no microwave..no fridge..no towels cones with the room...2nd room had fridge but u can easily tell..no dusting or cleaners used..Just sweet and halfway make the bed..Oh yeah .bout forgot no towels and no pillows on bed...Do not..I repeat Do Not stay here..It's just the local motel for 30$ a night for all the homeless meth heads and people just on drugs..very very unsafe..Felt like I was gonna be robbed each time I came out of my room for Uber... Never Again and please don't come to Arcadia hotel to stay....It's disgusting..Also if u go through reviews and find Freddie Souza..he leaves good review..he's a family member of owner of Arcadia...

We had to wait very long time for anyone to acknowledge us to check in, pre booked. Checked the room, totaly unsat! Dark, room, AC didn't work. The water was turned off at the toilet. Canceled and went elsewhere.

*Update* 04/04/2024 Things have only gotten worse in the past 6 months do not believe the pictures you see look at the pictures that were posted by actual guests. This hotel is the local hangout Hotel your room will be disgusting and people will be walking by carrying on loud conversations while trying to open your window all night! Arcadia Inn Motel in High Point, North Carolina, is a nightmare. The rooms were dirty and in a state of disrepair, making the stay uncomfortable and unsanitary. The staff was helpful and polite, this was the only positive of the location. To top it off, the prices were completely unjustified given the deplorable conditions. I wouldn't recommend this motel to my worst enemy; it's an absolute disgrace and should be avoided at all costs.

I personally have never had an issue here and I book this hotel at least 4-5 times a week. Early check in is available for the rooms used for one nigbt stays but you can extend your stay and wont have to change your room. Rules posted in black and white and staff is always kind and helpful. The prices are fair and they offer affordable weekly rates. Sometimes there are sketchy people and activity, the police frequent the area. But the owner, managers and staff do not tolerate disturbances and will kick anyone out who causes issues. There have been times when it's very quiet and vacant because all of the troublemakers and questionable people have been kicked off the property. The owner and managers stand behind their staff and and will not let anyone treat them any kind of way. They try their best and I appreciate the people who work here. The rooms are decent. There's flat screen TVs with plenty of channels to flip through. The water gets really hot which I like. I've never seen any roaches or rodents. If you like to eat breakfast (I don't) they only offer cereal and coffee. I give it a 4/5 because I do think this hotel is affordable and decent. And there's always drama going on and I don't have a life so I like to stand outside, smoke my cigarettes and watch the arguments and fight. I'm always entertained here lol. If you're not a troublemaker, complainer and stay to yourself you'll be fine. Also, if you are a woman be extra cautious when you're walking to the gas station or wherever. There are a lot of creepy men who will literally stop driving and try to talk to you and lure you to their car. One man followed me the entire way back to the hotel and came back several times trying to talk to me. Have a weapon and be ready to defend yourself if it comes down to it.

One of my daughter's rented a room when we rented the room the lights had went out but the manager Sophia stated that the lights would be back on in a couple of hours. And to come back before 11:00 pm because the office staff leaves at 11:00pm and the would be nobody to let you in the room manually. Went back at 9 :00pm couldn't get into the room so we left no staff was there. Came back the next morning asking for a refund or a night since nobody stayed in the room Sophia stated she's was not given no refund or night nasty and rude attitude that actually I think has rubbed off on the little black girl that works front counter she has a nasty disposition. These people need to be held accountable. It's not like this is a 4 or 5 star hotel never will be.

If I could give zero stars I most certainly would. The sheets had the previous guests hair on them,the comforter was more than likely a cover that was left once upon a time and the floors turned my white socks a dingy,sticky brown color ( I threw them away) and don't get me started on the bathroom. There is a reason it's the cheapest around. The front desk girl was very nice and had a great personality but she is the only reason I gave this place a star to begin with. Unless you have no other choice,I suggest grab you a blanket and sleep on the golf course next door,it's much cleaner.
