Great little, easy hike. The canyon and vista are really nice. It was cool to see the petroglyphs. We went on a winter holiday weekend, so there were quite a few hikers, but it wasn't too bad. The hardest part is finding a parking spot. The parking lot is small and fills up fast.
Found this location from FB posts, most said it was a great family (younger kids) friendly hike. Was a bit surprised when I started that it so rocky, narrow and as steep as it was. If you are a moderate hiker no big deal. If you are a casual walker, it will give you a decent work out. I hike/walk at San Tan Regional Park in San Tan Valley frequently and assumed this would be comparable based on the posts I read. It is not, as mentioned fairly steep ( heading up), rocky and narrow. Some places only enough room for 1 person. Took my dog and had no issues. Beautiful views and hieroglyphics were fun to see. It took me 1.25 hours and I spent 5 minutes at the top. Tracker stated 3.03 miles and 578 feet elevation increase.
Super cool trail! It’s not very long, took about an hour or so for a round trip. Just depends on how long you stay at the hieroglyphic area. Once you’re there, it’s a dead end though, so don’t expect much after you’re there. It was empty at sunrise, but while I was coming down the hill, I probably passed about 30 people going uphill. Go early morning to beat the crowds & for nicer pics!
Nice hike. The trail is pretty rocky with about a 500 foot elevation change. Trail length is just over 3 miles out and back.
Great hike to see some hieroglyphs for a class credit. Kids were tired by the end of this 1.7 mile hike. My watch claimed I had climbed 13 stories by the end and there were some medium/small sized rocks but a clear path the whole way. Once near the end where the hieroglyphs starts, the rocks are smooth and slippery so much care us needed. A great hike, with great views.
Easy hike to the beautiful petroglyphs. The trail continues past them to reach Superstition peak 5057. It's a long, challenging hike to the top, but well worth it if you're up for it
Nice hike. 3 miles round trip. Slight grade up, easy trail to follow, could be tough in high temps. Saw several birds, roadrunner, cactus wren, gilded flicker.
We had amazing time hiking this trail. It’s not super hard in fact, my five-year-old was able to do it the water on the trail is beautiful and it’s really worth the time to go up and see everything. I would highly recommend this trail to anyone especially if you are new to hiking. It’s a great way to get started.

The destination is worth the hike. It starts out very easy with a rocky trail and mild elevation gain. As you get closer to the cave, the ascent becomes harder and there's more loose rock.
Bring water. Wear sturdy shoes. Consider hiking poles if you
Once again, a fabulous production at Zao! The size of the venue really puts the audience in the heart of the show. Utilizing vocals from various points around the theater has a really wonderful result, creating a unique experience. Well directed and
1We've stay at this Best Western twice a year and always have the best time at The Rodeo Lounge. Even more fun when you come with friends and family. The bar food is darned decent given their limited space to cook. It's popular so be prepared for it
Gold Canyon golf and RV resort is a very clean and comfortable tiny house community. My parents live here, and I live nearby. I love that it is gated. I love how clean it is and the views of the superstition Mountains are spectacular. It is directly

Stopped in for lunch after golfing nextdoor. The staff were super friendly and the food our server recommended was as advertised. I had hand dipped onion rings and a French dip sandwich. Both were absolutely amazing.
Very good food. The lunch special are worth it large portion you get rice a spring roll and soup. I have a special needs son who is very picky and he liked the orange chicken and rice could not get enough of his plate. All the staff is very friendly
