We stayed at the Hideout for three nights on our way to Colorado. The house is beautiful. We stayed in the Jesse James room which was adorable. What I didn't like about the room was that there was no privacy between the bedroom and bath. The space was all open and while someone was showering the other person could sit on the bed and watch. Wasn't a problem since I was with my husband but for others it may be awkward. Also, the light in our shower was out. We reported it to management but it was not resolved until our last night there. Like I mentioned the room was super cute other than the above mentioned issues. There was a nice walk in closet and we appreciated having our own door leading out on the deck where we could sit out with a drink or walk out to our car if needed.||As previously mentioned by others, the walls are super thin. Having the two bedrooms off the living room and kitchen was probably not the best set up for a B&B. You could literally hear conversations out in the living room above our t.v. Not a big deal at all during the day, but at night it was a little bit of a problem.||Corinne, our breakfast cook was great. She made some great breakfasts and thankfully things that my husband liked. He is a picky eater and there was only one breakfast option, no choices which I get with only one person cooking. That seems to be a normal thing at most B&B's.||We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and Moab is absolutely beautiful. The Hideout is so close to restaurants, shops and so much more. I would absolutely stay here again.

We really, really wanted to love Hideout at the Rim but were instead - very disappointed. As others have mentioned - the walls (and ceiling) are thin and you hear everything beginning at 6 a.m. when the person comes to start breakfast. We found our room to be dusty and very warn at the edges. We opened one of the closets to stow our luggage and someone had just thrown a fleece blanket in there and not even bothered to fold it (I thought one of my teenagers was staying there!). The bathroom was cramped with dim lighting. The carpet was very stained.||||Breakfast was ordinary and in some cases the baked goods were undercooked and gooey. We were not given a choice as to how we liked our eggs - so it was over easy every morning whether you liked it or not. ||||The outdoor space was meh. Lopsided picnic tables looking at the ridge - but also all of the other houses around it. We saw a firepit (we also saw that in the pictures) that was on the property but learned that the firepit did NOT belong to the inn - but rather to the rental apartment below the garage.||||On a positive note - it was located just outside of town and everything was easy to get to. The other guests were lovely (the best part of the whole experience for us) and it was fun to share tips and experiences over breakfast. ||||We wanted to love this place SO MUCH but unfortunately it wasn't so.

This house is just a few miles south of the Moab downtown. Nice view of the mountains from the house. We, and another couple, stayed on the lower level of the property. We shared similar experiences. Our carpet was frayed where it meets the bathroom, exposing the tack strip. Our toilet paper holder and towel bar was missing. Our only window was pretty dirty and had brush blown up against the glass. There is an upper and lower common area to hang out, but because of the rooms next to them, you need to keep your voices down. There is only one thermostat for the whole house, so that is a little tricky. There are ceiling fans in the rooms. We toured one of the upper level room, which appeared to be more appealing. Oh, another thing that bugged us, was that the large closet had no more than 4 hangars. These are so inexpensive, I don't understand .||

On arrival would be good to have a sign to say which property was Hide out at the rim. Only knew what it looked like as saw photos of the property on booking. on arrival there are no hosts to welcome you. This is more of a air bed and breakfast with codes given to you before you arrive. clean room and spacious. No fridge in room. breakfast was good, a Lovely lady comes in every morning to cook you breakfast. She was very welcoming and chatted to you during breakfast. The only downside is you can hear everyone banging and crashing in the kitchen and moving around the property. Other guest seem to use the kitchen as though they were at home cooking up meals on their own and some leaving mess and not washing up leaving the morning cook to clean up. Downside to this is when people arrive late and decide to cook an evening meal and stay up till 11 banging and crashing pots. Even in the morning when the cook comes in people seem to want to take over and cook their own breakfast or get involved when the lady is cooking and helping theirselves to the food she is cooking which the cooks seems to find frustrating. Just let her do her own thing. You can make your own tea of coffee during the day but wouldn’t cook my own food there. Overall a pleasant stay and the breakfast lady is an asset if she can have full run of the kitchen without others getting involved |Wouldn’t stay again as won’t be going back to the area. |

I only wish I could stay longer - the rooms are very nice and well equipped, the rest of the house as well. The arrival procedure was also painless, provided breakfast very tasty, and I was also allowed to stay longer on the premises after the checkout to finalize some of my work calls. The only problem I had was that I didn't found the AC regulation controls ( it seemed to be managed elsewhere, but I might be wrong), I was freezing a bit ... Anyhoo - if/when I will be in the area again, I will definitely try to stay here again.

One of the best B&B's we've ever stayed at! Comfortable bed, high end decor and furniture and an amazing breakfast with Southwest eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt parfait and bread pudding! I would suggest a sign on the main entry door, as we were confused where to enter and we had to help another couple find their way in later that evening. Great views and quiet!

Loved the Hideout. Great breakfast. Perfect location for a morning hike to watch the sunrise. And wonderful common areas for hanging out.

We came for a girls trip and would absolutely stay again! The place was in a great location with views but was still close to town. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were great. There was also an awesome hike just out back.
