A very nice park. Usually, I personally think a lot of parks in Diablo Valley area are too small, but this is a good size and it's connected to Hidden Valley park. On a nice sunny day there's lots of people around the picnic area, playground and the soccer field. However the dirt trails and lake (pond) doesn't have much people at all. So it's a good place to walk and get a small escape from the neighborhood.
Big space to play and walk. Soccer and baseball field. Play structures. Be weary there are 2 sides of this park. Be cautious on hiking around. Beautiful sights and full embrace of Martinez nature.
Update: still spacious and beautiful. Updated bathrooms are a plus. Some trails cause more strain than others. Parking can be tight on busy days, reverse parking is probably better if you have a big truck/van.
What an excellent park to hike and ponder.
Place is good for what we went there for: walking or a short hike. Lots of trails to follow, and we found the lakes shown on the map ... not too hidden afterall!!🤗😉 Adding the cool and sunny weather made it just perfect!
I love that tbhis park is close to home, yet has many trails that make it feel like you're really out and about.
I have come here multiple times for a brisk walk.
This park is the perfect sport activity spot! Baseball fields, a soccer field with track around it, volleyball sand court area (bring your own net though). They have a basketball court area as well but the hoops aren't on right now unfortunately. They have a small playground and a climbing playground. Love to hike? They got beautiful hills to hike through also! Can you find the water fountain?! 😉 Lots of tables also if you wana just come down and enjoy your lunch!
Here's My daughter enjoying the sand at the volleyball "court" while her brother is playing baseball! 🥰
I walk here for the hills and views. It also has a very nice AstroTurf soccer field, baseball field, basketball court, volleyball, playground, fishing (which they stock) and bathrooms (that I have not been inside).
Our daughter picked this park by it's name off mapquest... We had never been there... It was great... There are many different things that you can do there... A couple of different playgrounds, a sand area/volleyball court, baseball field, soccer fields... There are many different trails to go walking on... It's great and we will be going back to explore more...

Dae Han is great! The instructors are patient and positive, and they do a wonderful job differentiating each class so students at varying levels can participate. I appreciate that classes are focused on having fun coupled with learning physical skill
Shared a half dozen sweet and creamy oysters, this week was the âSkookum Inletâ oysters from Washington State. Was recommended the Coco-Mango Shrimp and it was absolutely fantastic. The seafood nachos were plentiful and worth taking the time to
How do you improve on perfection? You cannot. Sumo Grill is our new go-to place in Martinez. As you can see the food is a visual delight and you get LOTS for your money. I love the garlic rice and the Chicken and Pork Katsu is easily 2 servings and e
What a cool brick walled cafe - lots of seating areas, high ceilings, watch the coffee roast as you work or chat. Not cheap but the quality is here. I looove the smell of roasting coffee!

Nice local donut shop. We also had ham, egg and cheese bagel that was good. I didn't get one, but the croissants look huge! The last ones sold out just before we ordered.
