It was nice but it cost more than it should, I was at Sunny sands and you got more for less money, the atmosphere was pretty calm and pretty chill, but if I had to choose between this campground and an actual resort. If you like nature and you don't mind not having Wi-Fi, a bar, all the amenities other than the shower and toilet, this is the place that you should go, if you want Wi-Fi and restaurant and a gift shop and all that then this is not the place for you.
I love coming here; it's a very relaxed, clothes-free environment. Friendly people, a nice lagoon to swim in, and a trail for running or walking through I can't get enough!
Amazing!! The owner personally made sure everyone was accommodated and that our visit was memorable! The pool is so unique and tranquil! Absolutely would recommend to anyone interested in having a relaxing yet adventurous experience!!
Awesome, secluded, quaint and quiet resort (when it isn't hunting season, I'm sure). Great host while I was there and welcoming atmosphere. Studio was nice, with all the amenities you would need for a short or extended visit.
Beautiful surroundings! Lovely and quiet. Loved the lagoon. Loved the DJ and the bonfire. Fun and friendly residents and guests. Very comfortable and welcoming. Would definitely return!
I absolutely love this place! I have spent a lot of time here over the past 10 years! It is hard to describe the beauty of this laid back, easy going, peaceful land in the middle of the woods! Very professional but, a homy feeling resort. Thanks you guys you always have my business.
We fell in love with this place on our first visit!! Already making plans to come back! Love the people in charge! We felt right at home !
So, I NEVER write reviews on places unless they are horrible. However, this place is the EXACT opposite. Great communication prior to booking, arrival as well as after entering “the dirt road” and checking in. There are A LOT of 5th wheelers here so the small stretch of dirt road is totally doable and a very well kept road. After the turn in, I was baffled by the differences in the pics from Google vs the in person view. I had seen some pics from here and there that did not do it justice. Once you take “that turn”, you see a very welcoming lake surrounded by a small community that is something I have never seen after touring all the states, all but one province in Canada and multiple countries. Now, openly, I’m a single male that looks “skeptical”, but there were several couples on golf carts that openly waved and smiled upon my arrival. Sherry was also very welcoming and communicative while I was inquiring about this place in an email thread. Definitely no judgement here! Check in process was super chill and the paperwork you sign is essentially a “don’t be an idiot” form. Within an hour of setting up camp I had already met several welcoming neighbors as well as Sherry and Bill checking in on me (really cool peeps btw). I am lodging here in a rental cargo van that I temporarily converted and would like to mention a few perks I did not know beforehand even after my research: There are full on facilities, bathrooms, showers, grills, ice machine, community kitchen with accessories as well as picnic tables / park style grill at what seemed to be at every lot. Mother Nature had other ideas for the beginning of my visit and I was definitely warned by Sherry about the upcoming conditions prior to me heading in. Totally honest, good people and I have never felt more welcomed into a camp/resort. READ the forms on the website and abide by the rules. This is definitely a super chill and relaxed place, not a frat house party and I assume the community would like to keep it that way. I’ve only been here for 5 hours and am prepared to book more days as my first impressions are typically on point. Great place, A++, could definitely retire here 🤙
