Loved my stay at this resort! The location is absolutely gorgeous! The room was clean and cozy, with a fantastic view of the Gulf. The condo was well decorated but could use some updating mostly for aesthetic purposes. The pool was super clean and well maintained. The parking is a little tricky but very convenient as well. Overall I'm very pleased and will return.

Spent a long Labor Day weekend in a condo (#232) at Hidden Dunes. A little pricey, but what isn’t these days? And I must say worth every penny. We had no issues! I commend the constant communication. If I texted a question, they answered it right away! Also enjoyed the food truck that came into the “compound” and served a great lunch!

Our family has stayed at HD for years. We always stay in one of the cottages. My husband and I took a quick getaway since we hadn't been to Destin in 8 years. I don't know if our disappointment was more with the particular unit, 232, or the things we noticed throughout the property. The unit needed painting, especially the trim. We had to call maintenance to fix the drain in the bathtub the first day. They did come and take care of it for us, a plus in their favor. We still didn't care for the bathtub, too high for us to climb in and out comfortably. The furniture looked like something the owners bought as cheaply as possible. Everything in the bedroom was mismatched and looked like it was bought second-hand. At least the mattress was good. | It was probably new. A new bedspread that looks updated would help. The couch looked okay, but we didn't sit on it. I think the springs in the chairs were worn out, but I just noticed how they looked. I didn't sit on any of the furniture while we were there. They need to get modern looking furniture and get completely rid of all the wicker. It looks old and dated. The screened porch had moldy trim as well as the door. The plastic(!) table and chairs were also becoming moldy. I believe they could do better than plastic. We paid quite a bit of money and expect things to be fashionable, comfortable, and decorated with some fun and flair to give guests a memorable and lovely stay. I noticed there was no guest book to sign. If there was one, it was not placed front and center. I believe the owners know the place is just minimal and don't want to hear what their guests have to say. The rest of the property needs a refresh as well. A number of things need to be redone or fixed. We won't be coming back here unless they make a lot of changes. I'm already looking at the newer resorts further east.

Beautiful, small community! This was my family’s first time staying here and we keep talking about how this may be our spot to stay in for the next few years. We love it here! Two pools, a nice water feature that is calming to listen to on your porch, basketball hoop, tennis/pickle ball courts, horseshoe, and a nice lake. The place we stayed in was only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Love it here!

Horrible horrible experience here. First day, checked in on 16th floor. One elevator was broke and was a 50 minute wait to find room to get luggage to room. 3rd day, both elevators were down so we went to the pool. Happened to step in human feces in the pool,then walk up 16 flights to get to my room. Called service, they did shut down and clean pool, UT didn't seem to care at all about the inconvenience. This was my 3rd and last stay here. All 3 stays had elevator issues and this time, someone was actually stuck in the elevator. There is no parking if you have a luggage rack. 6'6'' only. Parking is a nightmare unless you're driving a very small vehicle. The list goes on...... Good luck here! It's in an okay spot, gated, and seems safe for families.

We've been coming to Hidden Dunes for 15 years now. It's a place that is special to our family because of how peaceful the beach is and how accommodating the staff and owners are. The beach is unparalleled! Beautiful white sand and crystal clear water, especially this year! The White Diamond beach staff always meet us with friendliness, gratitude, and top notch service. Elliott goes out of his way to make our family feel as though we're the only family on the beach. We will continue coming back year after year because of these wonderful memories.

Great location. Had everything we needed equipped in the condo. 2 nice pools and golf cart rides to beach. Only thing they could improve is customer service when you call. We got there early and check in isn't till 4. No exceptions. So we headed to pool to wait.
