Hickory Bluff Preserve - Park in Osteen - 598 Guise Rd, USA

Nice place to go hiking. I haven't used the campsites, but they look pretty nice. However there is a lot of litter on the trails. I pick some up each time I go.

The campground is beautiful, it's very clean and well taken care of. There's plenty of space for multiple tents or vehicles, and there's even a very clean bathroom. There's a nice large fire ring at the Riverside campsite and it is circled by very comfortable benches. Everything concerning the management and the location is excellent and I would give it five stars. The reason I'm giving it three is because of the constant traffic of people who walk through your campsite even though it's reserved and go down and try to use the beach in front of your tents for their own use. Hikers and bicyclists are constantly coming down and cutting through your campsite. And water sports, canoeing or paddle boarding are nigh impossible in the river in front of the campsite because of the constant flow of boats. Very few actually slow down and are considerate of the wake whereas the vast majority blow through so fast you're constantly in danger of getting your canoe filled with water or getting knocked off of your board. And to make matters worse two nights in a row airboats went up and down the river until 4:00 a.m. They would intentionally go next to the shore and then gun the engine right next to our tents and it made it impossible to get any sleep. Again the campsite is beautiful and very well maintained but there is absolutely no control of those who use the river and do not respect the reservation of the campsite. And I couldn't recommend the campsite for families because the constant intimidation of the airboaters would be very stressful for young children.

This was a perfect hike for the time of day I dropped in. I hadn't been here in years but it was exactly as I referred it. The river views are beautiful. There is a camping area on the river, I noticed, with a fire pit and a portapotty. Looks like a good size for a few tents.

Very peaceful and secluded trail leading to an amazing shoreline off the St. John’s! Would definitely recommend! Trail was a bit flooded and mosquitos were quite bad, but it did not ruin our hike. Great for families and pets.

Nice trails. However, very short. If it's an issue for anyone, some parts of the trail aren't as manicured as others. Tall grass and budding weeds made shorts a little uncomfortable.

Beautiful spot for hiking/foraging. Tons of pollen, if you suffer from allergies bring meds or a mask if you go for a hike.

Lovely trails and has had some maintenance since being there 2 years ago. Was only able to spend an hour there, but definitely will continue the paths in the future.

Beautiful preserve, too many boats speeding down the river creating disruptive wake. Kinda hard to enjoy the peace of the river, but definitely beautiful to see and hike the trails.....definitely not shore fishing friendly 🙄
