Great historic hotel right on Main Street. We got lucky with a room that faced the Main Street, it was fantastic for people watching on Halloween. Super comfortable and absolutely clean. Quirky staircases that were historic and interesting. Jet tub that I didn’t use but wish I had. Excellent service, we left something behind and they sent email. Super place and location! New favorite hotel. Deadwood never disappoints!
This was our third time staying and Hickok's in the last year. It is close to everything in town, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. The pizza is great in the evening and it is right next to Outlaw Square. Will be back again
We had two suites and one queen room. There were ten of us on a family vacation. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the customer service was top notch. The location is phenomenal. Shopping, gambling and food is in the hotel AND right outside the door. I had another hotel booked for the night but the customer service at the other hotel was horrible so I stayed here instead. I would definitely stay here again
We are giving it a 5 star as the wife and I have been staying here twice a year for over 2 decades. The staff and the hotel are excellent. However, our recent reservation was screwed up by the new manager. We had booked a room back in June. We received a call yesterday to tell us that we were going to have to stay at a different hotel.so we canceled. We are not sure if we will able to make it again this year, as we have to reschedule our time off. Plus and the most important thing is not sure if our dog sitter can watch our girl. Deb is awesome if you need to book a room talk to her.
This place was amazing! Very cool old hotel, comfy beds, huge unique bathroom and jet tub! We were in a corner room on the second floor so we had the views of the Main Street and outlaw theater! Gambled away $5 at 6am so that was cool. Parking was tricky..they do offer free parking in the parking garage down the street so make sure you grab everything you need! All around one of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed. We will definitely be back!
The bartender, I believe his name was Nick, was awesome! My friend and I were there late last night and were looking for some food but their kitchen was closed. He was kind enough to make us each a hot dog and chips! Totally awesome guy and we sure appreciated it!
The front desk was very helpful in getting us checked in and squared away with our parking. Rooms were clean with high ceilings, old style looks with good amenities including a jetted tub. The staff in the casino and bar were extremely busy and they worked diligently with a smile on their face. Pizza was great too
What a fantastic place. And what a lot of history. Super cool inside with nice clean rooms. Yes they smell like smoke because smoking is allowed. But everything about our stay was top notch. And the people that work there are all super friendly and helpful. I would go back again and again and stay here. 👍 And they supplied all the necessary amenities in the bathroom. Something a lot of other hotels are not doing now. LOVE THIS PLACE 💕
I stayed here for two nights while visiting Deadwood. My room wasn't big, but it was very comfortable, call it...quaint. Very clean. The room had everything I needed. I like the fact that there are multiple sitting areas in the courtyard as I like to
Wow, just wow!!! This place is amazing! Mr. Jacobs has a talent out of this world...you have to see his work to believe it! And the stories are the things movies are made out of!! His staff are incredibly kind and very knowledgeable about everyth
The Adams Museum is well worth the suggested donation of $5! You can easily spend 2 days here reading and seeing everything and still not seeing everything they have! They have everything thing from local flora and birds, gems, dinosaur remains, Amer
I took out a one month membership here while on vacation in the area. The facilities are great. It includes an indoor track, cardio equipment, lifting equipment etc. There is also a large indoor lap pool, zero entry kid pool with small and large
I absolutely love this place and have for years! It's like a museum you can drink in, as they say.
There is so much to look at, and I love the one deck card games! ð
The gift shop has so many fun things to look at.
You should absolutely try th
We really enjoyed Wild Bill Bar in Deadwood. Full of photos and collectibles including an acknowledgement of the spot where Will Bill Hickok was shot. Excellent, attentive bartender, too!
We just got home from spending a week at the SteelWheel Campground, it was a great place. Grounds were very nice, the views were awesome! The staff were so greatâ¦was so happy to see great coffee options when my Kurig decided not to work anymore! Th
We were trying to find some dessert when all the power went out in Deadwood (and surrounding area). On a whim we stopped into Snitches and the staff were wonderful. Atmosphere was fabulous, the homemade desserts were amazing and the coffee was fant
