Hibiscus Cafe - Greek restaurant in Wichita Falls - 4114 Burkburnett Rd, USA

Overall it was a pretty good experience, we went on the tail end of the lunch rush and service was pretty slow and it took about 30 minutes to get food. The food was pretty good good balance of flavor from the meat, although portion size for the French fries was excessively underwhelming. Price was pretty decent if you wanted a gyro, But everything else on the menu was a little bit cost prohibitive for anything but dinner. The store was super clean otherwise, wait staff was extremely polite, And overall it was a nice place to grab lunch. The downside was the overall time it took to get food even after lunch rush subsided, in the overall portion size that left several of us still a bit hungry.

Great Greek food considering you’re in the middle of nowhere Texas. Great choice for a great meal and desert. Their Greek coffee was awesome and went well with my fresh baklava. I got the lamb/beef gyro and it was delicious. The service was super friendly and attentive. It can get really busy during lunch, so be careful if you’re in a time crunch or try to order ahead.

If I could, I would rate this place a 4 1/2. There are so many great things about this place. It’s very clean from the shakers and condiment bottles to the work station! The staff is efficient and friendly. They have margaritas, brewed tea and exquisite coffee selections among other bar drinks and beer. I would say the dessert list is the best in town with decadent choices and the chocolate compilation that I consumed was over the top. I had a gyro which was pretty tasty but I always compare gyros to my all time favorite gyro in another Texas city which explains the 41/2 stars instead of 5. I will return because it really was good! It’s clean, modern, sleek and appealing. I went at lunch but it would be a great place to go for date night.

Food is amazing, ask for extra everything! The waitress there during the day was so sweet, she doted on our baby niece, served us quickly, and was great conversation. All of the staff are great and the food comes out fresh, super flavorful, and the portions are great for the price.

I was in the area and discovered this place when I Googled "restaurants near me". It had a friendly atmosphere and lovely decor. I had the spanakopita and the gyro with fries. Both were delicious. The pita was soft and pillowy while the tzatziki sauce was packed with flavor. Although I did not partake of any, they had a plethora of desserts to choose from. This is a cozy place with delicious food.

I ordered the Gyro with Fries and it was so delicious 😋. The fries were very crispy and crunchy. The gyro wrapped in pita bread was amazing! Meat was tender and savory, the sauce was flavorful. Entire meal was absolutely delicious.

Super fun atmosphere, more upscale than I was expecting. The food is DELICIOUS. I had a salad and tzatkiki dip appetizer, both fresh and excellent. They have so many kinds of desserts! We can't wait to come back and try more. And the staff is so sweet! They were short-staffed, but Mary is a rockstar and took great care of us.

Love this place! My sisters and I found it last year. We intentionally planned our trip this year to include Hibiscus Cafe. The food is really good, and the atmosphere is great. Even better are the people who run it and their employees.
