Hibbing Inn & Suites - Hotel in Hibbing - 1411 E 40th St, USA

I was in town for an event. Called about a room. They had plenty. After the event I came to get a room. Nobody around at the front desk. They have a sign that says no refunds, and check in only allowed tell 11pm. I waited and waited in the lobby. Nobody came. So I called back. Finally got ahold of someone and the guy who was very hard to understand sounds like I couldn't get a room after 11. And hung up on me. I went back inside. Again. Nobody around. Ended up having to sleep in my vehicle bc there was nothing else anywhere with in 40+ min of here. And it was now after 1am after dealing with this since b4 midnight and trying to find a different hotel.. Seemed like a pretty crappy place to. Front door busted. Stuff duct taped together in the lobby. I def would not recommend trying to stay here!

We immediately felt like we were a burden to the staff. Absolutely disgusting, sketchy, and NOT secure. The smell of the room was unbearable so we kept the windows open. Couldn't sleep with the blankets because they also stank. Don't look under the beds!! Fairly certain I saw a drug deal go down in the parking lot. And a high, strung-out lady harassed us over and over, even after she was supposed to be removed from the hotel. The smell of tobacco smoke was seeping into our room. Felt dirty leaving the hotel. Do not bring your children here.

Great place to stay. The flowers outside look amazing they were hard at work. Clean and comfortable. Front desk and Manager are very helpful and accommodating!

While the outside looks decent, the inside is in desperate need of updates and repairs. Our room smelled TERRIBLE! They gave us Febreeze to spray. We went and bought air freshners and nothing helped. The smell even got into our clothes. There was 1 bath towel in the room when we checked in. Nobody worked the front desk during the night shift and the front door was just open. Anyone could walk in there. I wouldn't ever stay there again. I did feel bad for the workers as it isn't their issues (they can't make the repairs without authorization I am sure). The owners need to put some money into updates.

A total dive hotel!|It was nowhere near the $100 it cost to stay there.|There was a very minimal amount of hot water available in the shower. The tub was filthy. We had to clean the tub to be able to take a shower with Clorox wipes The room was dirty. The back door was propped open with a piece of duck tape.|Will never stay there again!

Location was convenient, hotel was appropriate for the price, but the stench was almost unbearable. The smell was bad enough to give a person a headache, stomach ache or both. We had to keep the window open most of the stay and hold our breathe walking in & out of the building. We will not be staying here again, due to the stench alone.

I love Hibbing Inn & Suites!!! Jamie, Amber and others were very professional, friendly and accommodating to our needs. I would definitely stay here again.

Horrible hotel at ridiculous prices! A total ripoff at $100! A dive hotel. Absolutely filthy rooms. No hot water in the shower. Couldn't turn the water on. Filthy tub. Back door propped open with duck tape! There are no suites that I could see.
