We had the Best experience with Hi-Tech Builders. We had an insurance claim with water damage which included a bathroom, dining room and garage ceiling. Carlos (who should run for Mayor) was "the Best" when it came to easing our minds, answering all of "our questions of the day" with patience and aligning all of the stellar workers up in a prompt fashion. The Company, under Carlos's Leadership, gets an A+ for the quality of their workmanship. (a shout out to their awesome electrician Luis that is so intense and focused....let the games begin) :-). Beh in the front office was very prompt with t's crossed and i's dotted when it came to piloting this smooth running ship. Hi-Tech Builders is an amazing company! We recently had to fully remodel our primary bathroom after a water damage fiasco. The mitigation company demolished our bathroom in just one day, leaving us completely stressed out. Hi-Tech Builders swooped in and quickly turned things around for us! From start to finish, they were fast, reliable, and professional. Their team transformed our bathroom into a stunning, high-end space with beautiful fixtures and gorgeous cabinetry that we love. Their Production Coordinator, Henia Jamora, was our main point of contact throughout the process. She was incredibly knowledgeable and so helpful in guiding us through the choices for colors, cabinets, fixtures, and more. They were also very careful to stay within our budget. I hired Hi Tech Builders do a renovation on my home in 2021. I was happy at the time, so I gave them a glowing review on Google. I even agreed to do a video testimonial for them. Now, three years later, I'm discovering issues. They suggested that I have them replace my HVAC system. I agreed and we signed a contract. This replacement was separate from the renovation and done by a third party vendor that Hi Tech Builders hired. Firstly, they overcharged me, hugely. I was charged $22,500 for the HVAC system for my 1200 square foot, single-story home. Every source online that I checked says it should cost $5,000 to $12,000. The Forbes Home website stated that the average cost for an HVAC system is $10,000 or $15,000 for a “high-end" option. I paid $22,500 and it is definitely not high-end. I had to take out a second loan to pay for it. This past winter, the furnace they installed was making a loud whistling sound. I could hear it down the street while I walked my dog. It also kept turning off and on. A reputable HVAC specialist who was recommend to me by a friend checked it. He said that the gas valve was not adjusted correctly at the time of installation. The installer should have used a manometer. He said that I need to contact the installer and have them adjust it correctly. I emailed Hi Tech Builders to have them send out their vendor that did the installation. They refused, saying that the warranty period was over (3 years after the installation). However, the issue had nothing to do with a warranty. They needed to correct a mistake they made during installation. Hi Tech Builders offered to have their HVAC guy come out for a fee of $375, just to have the guy come to my house and assess the issue. Now it's summer. I had my air conditioner on, and the thermostat set for 72 degrees. It read 82-84 degrees consistently. My home was sweltering. I had a reputable HVAC company that I had used before come out. They found that the system was leaking refrigerant. The coil needed to be replaced. The technician stated that the part should have a manufacturer’s warranty for 8-10 years. He checked all of his sources. No one recognized the coil that was installed by the vendor hired by Hi Tech Builders. No manufacturer was found and the part was not registered in California. I had to pay $3700 for a new coil. A day or two after the coil was installed by the other HVAC company, the house was getting hot again. I called the company back, and the guy came out. He found several refrigerant leaks in the piping from the coil in the attic to the unit in the yard. The other HVAC company replaced all of that piping without charging me a dime. The guy stated that the piping used by the original installer (hired by Hi Tech Builders) was the wrong type. It was not flexible so it leaked at bends in the piping. Most of us are not rich, and most of us are not experts on all of the systems in our homes. We depend on the professionals that we hire to educate us on what is needed in our home, and do the work properly using the correct, quality parts and equipment. We also need to trust those professionals not to overcharge us for their work. Hi Tech Builders is not a company that we can trust or depend on for the work that is needed.

I wanted to start by saying that my husband and I were reluctant to even get a free estimate from Hi tech due to the reviews that we have read for yelp as well as other social media. We were going to cancel the appt but decided to give it a shot. When we met with Kobi we began to slowly felt like this guy was genuine and had knowledge regarding constructions. He was not like the other sales manager who just want to sell you the projects. Our bathroom project is not as simple as retiling the shower. We have a 64 year old plumbing to be replaced (the Drain line as well as the Hot and Cold water) We are getting rid of bath tub and making a walk in shower, move toilet and closing off a door and installing bigger window in place. When we met Kobi is very good with numbers, he is able to calculate all the tasks that we needed done in his head in 5 minutes gave us a number The price was fair but most importantly we felt that we trusted him to do what needed to be done. My husband and I discuss it for a couple of days add up the numbers and decided to sign contract with Hitech. Every step of the way Kobi ensures that we have Permits, City Inspectors checking on the Electricity, underground Plumbing, Hot mop, Insulation. Daily job are supervised by Fredrick who was polite, listened to my wishes and changes that needed to happen. As with any construction there were several glitches. I would call Kobi in a panicked and he is always able to reassured me that someone or himself will come to resolve the issue. Also Karen, the office manager was quick to respond with any questions I have.. Kobi and Frederick have arranged really good competent Subcontractors. We are currently 85% done with our bathroom project. I wanted to just share my experience so far so that others have the opportunity to try out this company. My experience has been positive because of Kobi and the wonderful P.M. Frederick. I do believe that the company is changing their reputation because of the new hires. Recently Frederick has been here as the PM is doing an excellent job he listened to some of our concerns and will immediately remediate the issue. .. We found Hi-Tech through internet searches and gave them a call for a quote when our upstairs primary bathroom leaked through to the ceiling downstairs. We figured we would go for an entire bathroom remodel the way we envisioned it while getting that leak fixed. They promptly came, quoted, and got the ball rolling. They took care of permits and making sure it was all coded. Our project was huge (moved toilet to where the shower was and made a wet room area with new piping for rain shower etc) The crew was great, and everything we saw was brought to life. Carlos and his team were absolutely exceptional and made this process seamless. Carlos was so patient and attentive to every need that came up. They went above and beyond to do an incredible job. I am so impressed with their work and would use them again in a heartbeat. I had signficant water damage and remediation work. Carlos got my place back to normal, only more beautiful and just perfect. I couldn't be more pleased. Bhey was phenomenal with communicating every step of the way and had excellent customer service. I don't have any complaints, only praise! Thank you Hi-Tech and I'll see you again for the next job!
