Leans just enough into the dive bar vibe without being a dump bar where you're fighting off members of the aryan brotherhood fresh out of prison with a broken-off beer bottle. Instead, everyone was reasonably pleasant, the food was solid and the draft beer selection was better than many spots in and around the city. I ate a French Dip there, won't you?
Such a fun dive bar with a surprising number of vegan and vegetarian options. The drink menu is extensive and the food options are creative and tasty. We went with the vegan cheese coney and the drunken noodle bowl with tofu. We also had the “ish” mocktail and a glass of the vinho verde. Everything was very tasty! It’s not a 5 star restaurant, but the food was great, prices were good, and the service was fast. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in the area.
Hi-Lo is pretty much a perfect spot. Excellent food, great beverage selection, immaculate vibes. Kid friendly to a reasonable point. A neighborhood gem for many years. Long live Hi-Lo.
Serves “non-pretentious” food that is inexpensive and delicious. I’ve loved the environment here anytime I’ve been. Is a good place for grad students to study/work. Has a wide array of beer selections that rotate. I also enjoy seeing more “townies” here.
Great food with good happy hour cocktails. Two dollars off board cocktails twice in a day. Bread was good on sandwiches and I tore up the fries.
My go to place for trivia in Athens! The hot dogs are always bussing bussing and it’s always such a joy when Sophia takes my order! She’s so happy and helpful! I also recommend the horse radish mayo and green goddess sauces for your fries!!!

Really enjoyed eating here for the first time, it’s a fun place and very iconic. The food was delicious and the staff was super friendly and the service was so fast! The vegetarian Ruben, French dip sandwich, fries and the large hi lo salad with roasted chicken that we got was so delicious as well! Thank you so much!

I have been here twice now and it is always a pleasure. The nature center is smaller than most paid attractions, but hey it is free! The trails are nice from what I have seen and the staff was also very courteous. It was a great location to practice
UGA games are a great time! The stadium is clean, easy to access, and provides transportation to and from the parking garages. Great food but does not serve alcoholic beverages. You must tailgate for that experience. Have fun! Go Dogs!
