People aren't joking when they say this is one of the best sushi spots NEAR Seattle. Only a ferry away, but holy moly is it worth it! I will be dreaming of this place forever.
Poke Shokado Box was perfect for the first time trying 8 different sashimi cuts that are dressed up in 8 different ways. You can tell that the fish is so fresh and each bite was perfection.
We also got the Tako Wasabi, raw octopus with seaweed to make your own little delicious scrumptious bites. Octopus was straight from Japan and was absolutely delightful.
The matcha latte and Yuzu tea was also so so freaking good! The Yuzu was actually fresh and perfectly citrus and sweet, the balance was amazing.
10000/10 would come again! Arigatou Gozaimasu <3
Amazing food. The ahi tuna bowl was awesome. The young man had great customer service. We were able to look at the bowls to try. Very nice, we are from Alaska.
Wonderful place to stop by for visitors to Bainbridge. The selection of poke and other Japanese dishes was vast and impressive. They also had a lot of alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic drinks available. Really brought me back to Japan. Highly recommended.
I like this store's poke because it is not salty that much. They are using fresh tuna and salmon. And they provide galbi bento with fresh shrimp.
I ordered ahi tuna poke and hawaiian bento. Bento includes galbi and shrimp, which was grilled by the staff directly. Tuna poke was so fresh, and it seems that they provide gluten free options for people. Also seats are abundant but people are also crowded. If you visit here, please check your seat first!
Nice serving with decent service!
Great poke bowls with fresh fish. They also give a lot of other condiments like seaweed salad and fake crab salad that mesh well. The one thing I didn't like with the poke bowl was the addition of what I think was pickled plums. They were distracting to the flavor profile of the rest of the bowl.
The suntory whiskey caramel sundae had great soft serve but you couldn't really taste the whiskey at all, just caramel. While I'm ok with that, it seems to defeat the purpose of the special if you cannot taste any hint of whiskey at all.
Amazing Poke! Got off the ferry and walked 100 yards to amazing food! The poke was great and the clam chowder was perfect! Great start to an afternoon at Bainbridge! The Ginger soda is also a great choice!
Wow! I'm so glad we figured out how to get into this place. Hint: work your way down through the parking lots off Winslow Way, or plan to drive into the ferry, almost to the pay station, as if you are the transit. The food is fantastic and creative. There is plenty of parking in front, on the side and back of the business once you're there. I think this was the best scallop poke I've ever had. (No mayo and more of the meat, not just the adductor muscle.) My daughter loved her teriyaki and my partner's chirashi bowl looked amazing. I only docked one star for atmosphere because they were BLASTING AC/DC when I was trying to figure out the busy menu and it was momentarily uncomfortable. The music calmed down long before our food arrived. I know I sound old. It was seriously the only part of the experience that wasn't sublime. Try the housemade yuzu soda!
We were super hungry getting off the ferry, and incredibly thankful that HI LIFE was so close to the terminal.
We got the sampler, a tuna dish off the happy hour menu, a spam musubi, and a side dish of rice. The fish was delicious. I believe two of the rows are very similar with one being salmon and the other being tuna, and the middle row has octopus, clam, and pickled vegetables.
The fish is very fatty, which is delicious, but I’d also recommend getting at least some rice on the side to balance it out.
We came back later in the day on the way back to get the yuzu ice cream when the ferry inevitably got delayed. It was nice and refreshing on a sunny day, a little but not too sweet.

Such a cute little spot to hang with friends, enjoy a wide variety of yummy ciders, and play tons of games. They have a library of board games and so many original Nintendo games we wished we had come earlier to hang out longer! Alex & Randi (co-owne
Great stop when over on Bainbridge Island. The Labyrinth is beautifully designed with the different colors of rocks and patterns. The swing is so peaceful as you look out at the water. Stay a short time or a long time. What a lovely memorial! There i
It is a museum with very good architecture, it is completely free. I liked the layout of each exhibition room. Every year they put on new exhibitions according to the season or a particular artist. and at the end it has its gift shop.
I attended the Whiskey for Wildlife fundraiser here Sept 23 2023. The hors d'ouvres and food was very good, and the whiskies and bourbons were amazing. The venue was gorgeous and located in the south end of Bainbridge Island on the water. A great ven
This is a must-visit for anyone touring the wineries of Bainbridge, as well as anyone that is just visiting the area and loves a good sip or two. In early April on a gorgeous sunny afternoon, Eleven was the right spot to do just that. Their patio tab
My brother, grandmother, and I had a fabulous experience at Via Rosa 11. After a day of cavorting around Bainbridge Island, we decided to try this spot out. Itâs a lovely little shop and restaurant combo that serves some very flavorful fare.

Happened to see this shop on my excursion to Bainbridge Island. Very well maintained, clean, owners are friendly and most importantly loved the quality of the toys. I am sure many would be from China but they weren't cheaply made. I hope you get what
