Don’t think about it twice. Book it !
It’s super convenient, affordable, the room as are much bigger than expected, kitchen, bathroom, living area.
I wish I had ask the front desk lady for her name because she was the nicest person I’ve ever met. I arrived last Saturday morning if it helps. She needs a raise 🎉
Oh and they have free breakfast !!!!
I stayed at this hostel and honestly the location is amazing, my only problem really is with the beds. For the price they charge they should improve the lather to climb the bunk bed since it was very hard to climb and not the best, also there’s no little tray or something to hold your phone while charging and personal things like many hostels have. The mattress sunk a little more than it should and also the privacy of the bed like you could add a little curtain or something I know you have the means to do it it’s just matter of decision. Overall was good because they have breakfast included and was very good and the common areas are great. Overall I’d say it’s a very good hostel I just give 3 starts cause the most important for me is the bed and I’d like to see an improvement so your hostel become a 10/10.
It was crunch time and I had to find somewhere to stay. I came across HI-Chicago and I thought this was an affordable option instead of going to a hotel.
The location was fantastic! I walked up and down the street and had access to Michigan Avenue, State Street, and the EL within minutes. I was able to access the busses when I wanted to venture a bit off the beaten path. There were quite a bit of homeless near the hostel. However, I figured out which street not to walk down to avoid them.
Taking the Orange Line from Midway let me off right near the hostel. However, pay attention to which exit you disembark from the station. It's easy to get turned around, but you are still close enough that you will locate the hostel.
The hostel provided a complimentary breakfast that had decent options and would help you if you were on a budget.
If you want to join any of the activities, you need to reserve your spot the day before. I thought I could reserve on that day, but registration is closed if you don't do it by a certain time the day before the activity.
You also may want to bring your padlock to store your items while in the shared room. They will store your passport at the front desk, but if you want to keep items in the room, you can just lock them in the locker.
The worst part of being there was the bed. The springs were so low that it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. There was a dip in the middle of the mattress that made my sleep a bit uncomfortable. The bed was the worst. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.
This has been the best hostel experience i have had. The room was very spacious and clean and the bathroom facilities were great. They offered lots of free events for the guests such as walking tours, yoga, chicago style hotdogs and they also had pool tables and ping pong. The free breakfast was amazing, they had a wide variety of food 😁
Friendly people. We were able to get into our room upon arrival (12pm). The breakfast is fine. Great free tourist events (free tours, what’s happening, donut talks, hot dog evenings). Great location for seeing the sights. Clean. Not fancy in any way, but everything you need .
The location is excellent with the exception of the homeless encampment next door. I stayed in a female dorm which was fine - - some push and pull about the lights being on or off. I prefer pools of light to bright overhead lights. There was no way to see out the window or get natural light as the shades were fixed in the down position. The kitchenette on our floor was being used as a storage closet. This hostel gets high marks for location and comfortable beds with outlets and lamps.
Very good price considering it's location. The rooms are decently sized and the staff are friendly. Gets noisy at night and a bit chilly because of automatic air conditioning that you can't adjust.

In Chicago and stopped by this place. Grand opening for them. Wonderful people with a great spirit overall. Had a chance to dive into the whole thing of coffee coming from Ethiopia after meeting their African-American roaster of coffee. Lovely time -
I'm writing this review after taking a full year of classes at Vibez. Initially, I bought class packs and then signed up for the monthly membership (8 classes a month) once I knew it was a good fit. Over the course of 2023, I lost more than 20 pounds
Ive been coming to the Garage Gym heavy AF classes for 6 weeks now and absolutely love them! I was previously just doing one class a week and purchased the five pack, but I decided to move forward with a membership to start going multiple times a wee
I recently joined CrossFit Park Ridge and hands down, best choice Iâve made. Very warm and welcoming community. Workouts are challenging and never boring. And coaches are great! My only regret is not joining sooner.

This apartment was a great find for us. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and had plenty of space to fit us all comfortably. Importantly for our group the kitchen is well equipped - there have been many places we've stayed where there aren't enough bowls an

We love Cafe Calida so much. We came here our last two mornings of our trip and regretted not coming earlier. Great menu with delicious pastries. My husband got a mocha and I got a Chai latte and they were both so delicious. Our first morning we came
Pizza was great. I love this style of pizza. Itâs a great place for a low key date night. Prices were extremely reasonable, especially for the quality. It is a family run business, the family has 2 generations of pizza making experience. Itâs a s
