Herold's Pizza Oven - Restaurant in Peoria - 3821 N Sterling Ave, USA

I will go back to try out the buffet. Friendly prompt service. Our group had 3 different pizzas. And 4 in our group had salad from the salad bar. All salad eaters said was exceptional. Pizza was fresh and hot and beer was good and cold. Very reasonable prices.

Wife loves pizza buffets but in Seattle they were non-existent for the most part. This works great for her. Daily lunch buffet and a couple nights of dinner buffet. I am ketovore so very low carbs and the wings were great and the last trip I had them make a crustless pizza. Not a problem, just pick the type you want and everything but a crust gets cooked in one if the aluminum take-out tins Luke you might get pasta delivered in. Price was reasonable and plenty of space for plenty of people. Very friendly staff and they didn't even blink when I knocked the parmesan shaker off and shattered it. Swept it up and handed me another one.

We had a small group and got a few different choices. Loved the flavors. We tried both the thicker crust and the thin crust. Both good. Saw a cauliflower crust option too. I can not say enough good things about the place. I also did the salad bar and it was fresh.

I'm a regular at Tavern 41, the bar in the back of Harold's. The beauty is they share a kitchen! Love their food. The pizza should be in a 'Peoria's Best's conversation. Boneless wings are chicken chunks compared to blended chicken nuggets, which is awesome. There's always great salads. The Italian beef slaps. Big fan.

I was so excited to win a large pizza and breadsticks from one of their FB contests! We ordered the Tavern Style Parmesan Garlic Pizza and it was delicious! The breadsticks and beer cheese were fantastic as always, and we also ordered a Silician Stromboli and a Chocolate Chip Pizzzza, which were so good!

Great little spot. Fun to see a little family joint like this. Steak could’ve been great with a bit more thought. One bite was all cheese, other was just steak and onions. Cheese was only on against the bread split, not throughout. But flavor of meat was 👌

This was a fantastic find for this out-of-state traveller. Nice atmosphere and our server was awesome and so patient while we reviewed the menu. I got the baked potato pizza and hubby got beef New York pan and they were amazing but the breadsticks and stromboli were so out of thus world!!!
