Heroes Lounge - Jamaican restaurant in Dallas - 3094 N Stemmons Fwy, USA

Edit: The music is just too loud... we couldn't enjoy ourselves fully because of the music and the voice box the singer was using... we come to eat and leave before the band gets there... I go on Fridays for the buffet... sometimes the food is really good, and sometimes it's not. You have to get there when it's fresh... the chef is an amazing cook... the drinks are strong as well... the first plate we got, the food was burnt and overcooked... maybe from being in the burners... but when the chef brought out the fresh food, it was so delicious...

Really don’t like leaving negative reviews but my hopes of getting good Jamaican food as my first time in Dallas was a failure with this restaurant. Tried calling to complain but no one answers. I had takeout. Got home 10 min later opened everything up. Jerk chicken smelled like it’s been sitting outside for over a day. Had to throw it away. Literally smelled bad. Curry goat was not fully cooked inside and steamed veg was old. Only thing good was the plantains. Hard to mess that up. Very disappointed. Service was good though

Food is great! Service could be a bit better but it’s not bad. Atmosphere is perfect for 35 and up that want to have a great time with no drama. Music is good also!

I visited my sister and she brought me here. We dined in between 6:30p and 7:30p. The food came out quickly (we both got the rum punch and super oxtails). The customer service was EVERYTHING! I was going to leave a review anyway, but this has me posting while in the car lol. I think our waitress was “Shani”? She was great and everyone else was too.

First off, the food here is delicious. I haven’t had good Jamaican food in a long time, so I would come back for that alone. Everything else wasn’t really my cup of tea. I’m not sure if they always have a door fee, but having to pay to get into a restaurant was off putting. The music was way too loud. My friend and I had to scream at each other across our tiny table until we just gave up on trying to talk altogether. The drinks were pricey. The service was slow. The place looks a little run down. If I ate here again, I’d probably call it in for pick up

Rum punch packs a punch! Oxtail plate is so flavorful! Music (DJ and live band) fantastic! Pricing is great and a plenty of menu items to choose from!!

Heroes is located just off the interstate for easy access. There's plenty of parking and seemingly we'll lit (I visited just just before dark). It looked like a photo banner near the entrance, but it was too dark for a clean photo. I ordered the Curry Vegetable and a Ginger Beer to go and OMG, this meal was so delicious and authentic 😋 I will definitely visit again the very next time I'm in town.

The food is hit and miss, I get the 3 man… oxtails, stew chicken and jerk chicken. Not sure what I found in my food, was very disappointed and disturbed.
