Heritage Inn Hotel - Hotel in Watertown - 700 E Main St, USA

Positive: The staff was excellent. They went above and beyond to help my 77 year old mother and I. If you want a feel of historic downtown, I would recommend you stay at this hotel. Negative: If you are staying here with anyone that can?t climb stairs, make sure you stay on the first floor. There is not an elevator.

The photos of the rooms do not look like anything that we had!! We had a king bed, there was one swivel chair at the desk, but no other seating in the entire room. Everything looked very worn. There were no pretty bedspreads and pillows like the picture showed. The hotel smelled the minute we walked in. The only positive was that the room did appear to be clean.

This place is perfect for families. It's conveniently located near I-94 and downtown Watertown. The bedrooms and washrooms were extremely clean, and the hotel had all the luxurious amenities you could ask for. I'll definitely be coming back. A big thank you to Ahmed at the front desk!

Phenomenal service at this hotel. Workers bent over backwards to ensure my stay was comfortable and exceeded all my requests for room comfort and cleanliness!! Very friendly and hardworking people here. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay here at Heritage Inn. Was heading east from I-94, got tired and called at 2 in the morning. My kids were greeted very kindly by management. The rooms were spotless. The beds were very comfortable and felt just like home. The location was fantastic. I’ve stayed in multiple hotels across North America and this hotel was an excellent stay!

Booked online. Upon arrival, I noticed weeds in the parking lot asphalt. Not busy upon arrival, only had 2 cars in the front area and about 5 in the back. Pressed the bell for service and waited about 2 minutes for them to answer the bell. Not a very friendly reception, after getting our key, the receptionist left the desk before we left the lobby. We got our bags from our car and returned to the lobby, no receptionist to ask questions about the local area. We then carried our bags upstairs to the second floor. No elevator. And our room was at the end of the hallway, instead of near the stairs. Empty hotel.... Put our bags in the room, noticed the carpets were dirty along the edges. The room was hot and had a funky smell. Turned on the AC and promptly headed out to dinner. Upon returning, the room was cool but still smelled. Turned down the bed and noticed hairs, dead bugs and stains in the sheets. Went to the front desk and complained to the receptionist, who was in her pajamas, a young man from the hotel was in a tshirt. I asked for clean sheets and he took me to a second room. The second rooms bed had hair and dead bugs with stains in the sheets. I said bring sheets. I returned to the first room, my wife told me she found dead bugs in the bathroom. They offered us another room, comp for another night or a voucher. They gave us excuses about just taking over the hotel and they ordered new sheets and towels. I told them there was no way an excuse was acceptable. They could have bought new linens and cleaned a couple of rooms properly. We decided to leave and checked into another hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.

I came to his hotel a few weeks ago. I had a great trip and I found the beds to be really comfortable. The rooms were very accommodating. The bathrooms were also very clean compared to other hotels I have been to. It was also really quiet in the area great for a good night sleep. The hotel was great and I sure will visit again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the cleanliness to the management everything was outstanding. The rooms were very comfortable and were thoroughly clean. The management was very understanding of all my needs and went above and beyond to ensure I had a very comfortable stay.
