False advertising....they show breakfast and there was NONE...when I called the phone number at the front desk as there was NEVER anyone at the reception desk the whole time we were there I was told that they DO NOT serve breakfast , yet the breakfast room had plates, silverware, refrig, micro.and their website said breakfast..if they don't serve breakfast then why have all breakfast items on display...if you can avoid this place do so!!!....called the Hotel manager and he was rude and said I was wasting his time and that breakfast was for only long term residents....exactly how many "long" term residents stay there??. If passing through this area you're better off sleeping in your car than at this place....

Housekeeping walked in on my adult nude son in his room when I specifically asked for no housekeeping services until check out. He felt violated to be woken up to his door closing. Yesterday I had to call two hotels that the staff is running to attempt to speak to a manager named Patel. Yesterday evening I was offered a refund by a female whose name was not given to me, told me they were a manager and that a male manager would be calling me back. They never did. I called this morning to accept the offer of a refund and was spoken to like I was pond scum. I was told maybe I shouldn’t sleep in the nude with my son, implying vile behavior. I reminded this woman my son had his own room. Then she said maybe he shouldn’t have slept nude in his private room. The air conditioner was not cooling in either room properly so we were all hot. My son is in college, currently training incoming freshmen, working 2 jobs. I paid for lodging so I’m the one calling. I talked to several people yesterday who DID NOT give me their names because I was given the run around. Today ANOTHER woman who DID NOT give me her name said that I can’t get a refund. She was argumentative from the get go and condescending. I was interrupted repeatedly and yelled at while trying to explain this to her. This was the 4th or 5th person I’ve talked to. You also have to call someone and wait for an employee to arrive for assistance because they were not on the premises. Housekeeping barely whispered and knocked very lightly almost not heard and tried to open my door as well. I was told to speak to someone named Mr. Patel but no one gave me their names. It was late when we checked in, and because I didn’t remember who checked us in, apparently the issue is irrelevant. I do remember now it was a dark haired man with painted fingernails. The reservation could also easily have been pulled up to see who checked me in. Or looked at the schedule to see who worked when I checked in. I’ve been told not to call back and when I have, I get hung up on immediately. I was told she didn’t have time to deal with me. Don’t stay here if you want a good experience because they do not care and will not resolve problems as offered. As an autistic person, this was and still is an extremely distressing situation. The only nice employee I spoke to was an older gentleman who took down all the information I gave him.

Perfectly fine place to stay for a night's sleep on a longer drive across several states. I've been here twice. Rooms are perhaps a bit dated, but found to be clean. A number of establishments within a short walk for a late dinner, including Applebees. There is no breakfast served as has been mentioned by other reviewers, (other than coffee/ juice bar), but most importantly the pricing found online reflects that. If you want a full breakfast, pay more, or a lot more, somewhere else. I prefer to pay less. After check-out, went to a local Country Kitchen for a full breakfast and got back on the road.|Other reviewers are correct in that the Front Desk at this hotel is never staffed. There is some type of joint-ownership with the adjacent larger hotel, and there is clear signage on the front desk to pick up the house phone, which automatically calls the staff at the adjacent hotel, and they come over and check you in. When I stayed here last month, there was already a staff member at the Front Desk, checking in another guest, so there was no wait.|Would stay here again without hesitation, the next time I make the multi-state drive.

I called the hotel to make reservations because I was taking a handicapped person with me and needed accessibility. I paid extra to get a room right next to the elevator with handicapped help. When I arrived at the motel and went up to the room we had been given, it was the farthest room from the elevator you could get in the hall. I went back to the desk and complained so they gave me the room next to the elevator. The key card wouldn't work so I had to return to the desk for a third time. This time one of the key cards worked, the other one didn't.|The room had no handicapped provisions, not even a grab bar in the shower. There were only 2 towels for a room for three. There was no ice bucket--another trip to the desk, where she had to go to an empty room and get an ice bucket so now that room didn't have one for the next guests. |The television did not work at all, the A/C worked at best moderately, there was no soap in the shower, the carpets were dirty, the bed was one of the high ones that a handicapped person could never get into. No breakfast was available, just juice and coffee.|When I checked my credit card statement I found that I had been charged an extra $15 for a "booking fee" for the convenience of calling them instead of just working on line to get the special room, which I never did get.|In short, if this is the last room in Dickinson, get yourself arrested. A night in jail would probably be more comfortable than this place.

5 is good. Check-in was slow due to technical issues. Once we got to the room, the keys did not work. Went down for new ones and 1 of the 2 finally let us in. The tub was slippery. The room was generally okay, but sorry to be gross, there was clearly a bloody booger in the middle of the white comforter; I don't see how housekeeping could have missed seeing it there! Disgusting. In Room, coffee pot had debris in it. No breakfast, but it they said they offered free coffee and juice. Went down for juice after check-in. None of the 4 dispensers worked. Told the clerk, who pointed us to the vending, and said she would have someone look at it. Next morning, there is no juice and no coffee. Don't advertise it if you are not going to have it available.

Listing says "24 hour front desk personal". When I arrived at 3:40pm there wasn't an employee in the hotel. There was a sign on the desk that said they are helping another customer and to please use the phone to call someone. Nobody answered the call, so I called the main number and again nobody answered. After 30 minutes another guest that was also waiting to check in called the hotel next door and told them there was a line of people waiting to check in. Only then did someone come to check us in. Then in the morning, again there wasn't an employee in the hotel... I had to call two times to get a receipt for my stay.

Booked reservation through AARP travel. Checked in and they would not honor the AARP rate. When I attempted to rectify, there was no one on-site manning the front desk, but an off-site rep with camera access. She could not have been any ruder. Refused to even discussed. I mentioned that I would not give a very good review. Her comment was that she couldn't care less about my review or any social media postings detailing our displeasure. Arguably the worst customer service I have ever had in over 50 years. Since she doesn't care about my review and opinion, you just might when considering your stay at the Dickinson location or any other Heritage property. Avoid. In addition, when booked, it said there was a free breakfast. There was not when we arrived. Just juice and coffee.

We stayed here overnight while traveling through and found the room to be roomy, nice and clean. Hotel clerk was nice and friendly. He suggested restaurants. Although there was an issue with the air conditioner staying on this was a pleasant place to stay.
