Heritage Carousel of Des Moines - Amusement park ride in Des Moines - 1801 Pennsylvania Ave, USA

Totally awesome! Loved it! My kids looooved the super cool old school slide designed like a rocket ship. Two separate brand new playground areas, and 50 cents to ride a historical monument with a real drum and xylophone, the carousel, even my teenager had fun! 5 stars!

A old fashioned fun time for kids. Children are $.50 a ride and adults are $1 unless they are standing next to a kid helping them.

Such a nice little spot to stop and visit. The lady running it that day was super sweet. The kids loved riding it over and over again. Very well kept. Clean and beautiful. Even us adults went on it and had a great time! Loved that you could see the little musical instruments going as you rode. Nice and shaded as well!

We hosted a private event at the Union Park carousel the spring and it was a huge hit. Really inexpensive, and fun for the whole family.

Classic style carrousel. The kids loved it and it is so inexpensive, you could ride several times. Definitely recommended.

Love this park, we use to have our family reunions there 1960's-90's. I visited with my grandchildren summer 2018 & had a blast! Italian ice vendor that had a variety of flavors was delicious. Had a blast on the carousel! Kids loved the Giant Slide! Great cheap fun!

Place is really nice! A very nice group of people manage this place. It does cost and they accept credit card. I think it was around 50c per ride, but you could do unlimited rides for a cost too!

A classic favorite. Rides as of last visit are still just 50 cents for kids, $1 for adult riders. (Standing next to kiddos is free). Staff have always been very friendly.
