Beautiful small park that turns into a magical wooded fall setting. The yellows were so bright and beautiful. We chose this setting with the red barn for our family photos.
The girls and I decided to visit this park for part of the day. This park has a circle drive parking lot making it easy to enter and leave. There were trails that veined throughout the woods but eventually we made it out. Thank goodness for gps. There was also a historic structure on site that gives this park a centerpiece to go with the garden.
A beautiful little hidden gem. Just not completely peaceful as the road traffic can not be avoided.
Very cool place!! I was driving by this and I noticed the red building, so I turned my vehicle around and got out. Fortunately I had my camera with me so I decided to take a few photos while I was there. I didn't have time to explore the trails when I was there the first time, so I am going back for sure to get a good look at the rest of the area...of course I will bring my camera with me again because it looks like such an interesting area.
A great place to be in nature in the middle of urban sprawl. I love to do my daily devotions here and watch the seasons change. Winter is my favorite time here. The parking lot is well maintained in winter to get in.
Took the dogs and walked out Henry’s Woods today. Henrys Woods Rogers MN is a rare stand of over 50 acres of the original 2,000 acres of Big Woods that used to cover central Minnesota. Only about 2% of these Big Woods remain, and this is one of the few large enough to be considered a forest.
It's the secret garden that never evaporated. He is the savior of the plantations around here. I am blessed to bring my dog and wander the Woods! Be prepared' bugs be amongst ya.

What an absolutely charming place. Our service was great, the staff there is so friendly! We got queso with our chips and it was good. Rich but not overly so. Taco platters were awesome. Meat has great flavor and the rice and beans were on point.
The atmosphere here is always great and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend on that alone, however, they do have great food. If it has been awhile since you have been here somethings have changed though. On how you get full or half sizes. Seating
