Website states open until 5pm, I arrived at 4:39pm to get my blood drawn, I was told by receptionist the lab doesn't take non henryford doctor's lab orders past 430pm which is no where stated on the website, also I have been there numerous times before. I walked back to the lab and pleaded with them to make an exception but was Denied care! I then returned to the front desk very upset and asked for a manager only to be given a disconnected number. Was able to leave a message at an alternative number. This is absolutely unacceptable, I am disabled and had to find transportation there!! All the people involved need to be reprimanded or lose there jobs!!! I sat in the car found a Beaumont/ Corewell lab on my phone to go to a few miles away, drove there arrived at 530pm had blood drawn and out before 555pm and 6pm was their closing time! The Beaumont staff on northline rd southgate was awesome and very comforting to me because I arrived there in tears from my experience at henryford haig st Taylor earlier.
The folks in the lab who have been drawing my blood are very skilled. I'm usually a hard stick and at other places I've had to be poked several times, get poked in the hand or forearm, or been told to come back another day. All 3-4 times I've been here they've gotten blood on the first try.
I wish I could give Dr.Downham negative stars. I waited months to see a dermatologist. Doctor walked in the room didn’t introduce himself red flag #1. Looks at my skin and says I’m going to refer you to plastic surgeon, red flag #2 didn’t tell me what the bump on my face was or the bumps on my chest. Didn’t give me any alternative treatment. Asked the Dr about my face being inflamed with ingrown hairs. He ignored me. I was pulling up the exfoliation wash that I use to show him and ask if it was good to use. He accuses me of recording our conversation. At that point I went and got a nurse and asked her to stand in while the dr finishes up the worse visit I’ve ever had. Then he prescribes me a medication without telling me what it does and how it’s suppose to help me. I ask him what’s the purpose of the medication if I’m going to see a plastic surgeon. He tells me I can take the medication if I want to I don’t have to. He tells me he wants to see me in 3 months. How can I make an appointment to see you without knowing the schedule of the plastic surgeon. He only recommends 1 plastic surgeon when Henry ford has tons, buddy system I take it. I’m frustrated at this point. Still hasn’t addressed my face being inflamed with Ingrown hairs. Didn’t give any advice. Waste of my time. When I ask for the patient relations number or somebody to talk to the nurses just stare at me in shock.
Quick to see doctor, minimal wait times, fast message response, very knowledgeable staff that make the patient feel very comfortable.
Henry Ford Medical Center in Taylor is a great place to go. There is a greeter to help you find your way. The people I have met here love their jobs and have taken good care of me. In the waiting room there is a side area with no TV if the noise or station playing bothers you.
I went there for my first time to meet with a doctor that I was referred to by my physician. He was a very nice doctor and the staff was friendly and meticulous. The building was very clean and orderly. My wait was short and I was in an out in less than and hour. Handicap Parking is directly in front of the building, with regular parking on the west side. Masks ARE required at this time.

Had an appointment today at 8am with the point being I will be the first patient seen and there wont be any delays as I had a busy day ahead of me. Doctor is late going on a half hour, unfortunately I couldn't afford to keep waiting around and had to leave. Very annoying that my time was wasted today, also I paid a $60 copay right when I arrived. When I asked for it back it was like asking them to perform a miracle, they have to get some kind of "clearance" so they still have my money but I will be following up with them asking if they got their clearance yet :)
First time at this location with a new doctor. The visit left me underwelmed. I brought a list of symptoms and was told bloodwork would be done, results would take 7-10 days and to come back in 3 months. The doctor let me read through my notes, but my few questions were responded to with non-answers, so I stopped asking anything. There was nothing done in the way of a physical exam besides listening to my heart and lungs. I've felt vaguely unwell for over a year, seen my primary numerous times, had 2 ER visits and finally got this magical and elusive referral for a rhuematologist. My hands alone are basically useless at this point --yet the doctor only casually looked at them from a few feet away. Something is systematically wrong and I just wish there was more urgency in addressing my issues.
I wish too that after having been told specifically to arrive 20 minutes before my new patient 8 am appointment, the door to the fricking facility was actually unlocked when I got there. Instead, the place looked abandoned and I was left to call some random Henry Ford phone numbers just trying to determine whether or not I was in the right place.
The jab for bloodwork was fine, but the woman drawing blood was abrupt and rude. I much prefer the people at the Fairlane location where my experiences in general have been much different. But at least I don't have to go back there for 3 months. Maybe by then my symptoms will be much worse, perhaps enough to warrant some attention and a little empathy.
Or maybe before then I'll investigate a different hospital system, but I'm so drained now I can't say I even care beyond writing this review.

I recently visited here for a wedding, and the surroundings served as a perfect backdrop for the ceremony. The landscape was perfectly manicured, and the employees were courteous and professional. It's a nice place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Visiting from the Scarlet and Gray State down south when this place was suggested. I was originally told this place has great wings! Come to find out great wings aren't the only thing it has. The establishment itself seems pretty great. It's a nice c
